Rarity eyed the stranger up and down. She had a red hoodie on and black, muddy jeans. She smelled strongly of apple pie.
"Um.." Rarity backed away a little, glancing sideways at her friends and mouthing "weirdo!"
The dirty girl saw and gritted her teeth.
"I asked y'all a question!" She said. Rarity leaned forward.
"What's your name?" She asked.
"Applejack."
"Well, Applejack, I'm kind of busy right now. Please don't choose my friends! And also your apple stench is overpowering my designer perfume scent so please go away."
Applejack was fuming. Rarity was smirking. The crowd were giggling. Applejack headed off in humiliation.
"Nice one, Rarity! I'm glad she's gone. Did you see what she wore? Dead tacky!" they all started saying. Rarity. A beautiful name for a beautiful girl. If only she had a beautiful heart to complete it! Applejack thought.
