Rarity and Applejack held hands and jumped in. The water was cold, but not freezing. They both laughed and flicked water at each other. Then they counted to three and went under. Silly games. But inside, something felt more serious. Rarity shivered.
"Ya cold?"
"Yes."
"Here..."
Rarity saw Applejack hold out her fleece. It dripped and smelled of the water, but she took gratefully. Then Rarity gave Applejack a hug. It sent them backwards into the water. They both opened their eyes under there and laughed, choking a little on the cold water. Rarity's hair wafted about in her face. Applejack reached out her hand and brushed it away. Rarity then gave AJ this beautiful smile. Applejack's heart melted. She knew now that she was in love with Rarity. She leaned in but Rarity pushed bubbles in Applejack's face, grinned and sped to the surface, a rather irritated Applejack following.
