4-- Three Weeks Later

**Three weeks later**

My dad was supposed to come home two days ago, but his trip got extened and he was in Germany for another whole week. Once again, I found myself playing on my phone. I tapped on my most useful app, Period Tracker. I read the words, 17 days late. "Oh, shit." I said aloud. Either my period was screwed up and really late or I was pregnant. I grabbed my bag by the door and ran outside. I walked down the stairs and out onto the sidewalk. The nearest convinence store was a block away so I powerwalked there. I bought five pregnancy tests.

"Thanks." I said to the cashier. I went back into the bathroom and opened the first test. I did what I had to do and waited. I paced back and forth in the stall until I got an answer. I squeezed my eyes shut and opened them again. I found that it said positive. I took the rest of them. All of them said positive. "Thanks bye." I said to the cashier walking out. I ran inside the apartment and broke down in tears. I knew I needed to tell Justin, but I couldn't just ruin his whole world. I couldn't, but I had to tell him. I texted him, I need to see you.

Justin: Bebe, I'm sorry. I got back together with Selena.

Me: I know, just please. We NEED to talk. Soon.

Justin: Fine. Meet me at the coffee shop near my hotel in 10 minutes.

I didn't even worry about fixing my hair I just got a cab to that coffee shop. I walked inside and found Justin sitting in the back with his hood up. I sat down across from him.

"Quick." Was all he said.

"Justin, this is hard to say." I paused for about 10 seconds and looked around. "Justin, I'm pregant." I paused again and watched his facial expression change, "And you can be involved as you want. I'll be fine with or without you. I don't want to ruin your career, but I wanted you to know that you're going to be a father. I haven't decided if I'm keeping it, putting it up for adoption, or getting an abortion."

"Abortion is off the table." Justin said, sternly. "I just don't know what to say."

"I think it would be best for you and Selena and for your career if you pretended you didn't know and just let me have the baby." I suggested.

"Yeah... I guess that would be best."

"Okay." I stood up, "Nice seeing you. Bye, Justin." I walked out of the coffee shop. The next person I needed to tell was my dad. This would be the hardest part. The next thing to decide would be to keep it or to put it up for adoption.

*One Week Later*

My dad came home and took me out to dinner. I decided it was time to tell him.

"So Dad... I have something to tell you." I said.

"Whats up bunny?" He asked.

I bit my lip, "Um, Daddy, I'm.. uh... I'm pregnant."

"You're what?"

I knew he heard me so I kept going, "I didn't mean to. Dad.. I'm so sorry."

"Whose the father?"

"I don't know. There were a lot." I lied.

"Well this is quite the pickle." He paused, "Are you going to keep it?"

"I think. I want to Dad. I want to do it on my own. I can do it. Maybe this was meant to be so I can be put back in line." I tried to brighten the situation.

"Well, first things first. You need to see a doctor. I will make all of your appointments before I leave tomorrow." I was suprised at how well my dad took the whole thing.

He made all of the appointments for the next nine months and then he left for the airport. My first appointment was that day.

"Ms. Clark." A nurse called holding open a door

I stood up and walked through the door, "Hi." I said.

"Hello. You're going to be in this first room." The nurse explained.

"Okay." I walked inside and sat down on the bed.

"How far along are you?"

"Four weeks." I said.

"Alright. I will get the doctor in to do an ultrasound." The nurse left and closed the door.

About five minutes later a doctor walked in, "Hi. I'm Dr. Patricia."

"Hi. I'm Bebe." I said, smiling.

She looked at the clipboard, "So four weeks?"

"Yep."

"So we are going to do an ultrasound. I have to put this cold blue jelly on your stomach." I nodded in response, "So lay back." I followed her instructions and she placed the jelly on my stomach and rubbed a white thing all over it. "So this tiny.. little egg is your baby."

"Oh, oh wow." I said looking closely at the small white speck.

"Hm.. you're further than you thought." Patricia looked closer, "You're at 7 weeks."

My eyes got huge, "Oh." After my appointment, I walked home slowly. When I got inside, I talked to myself, "That could only mean... Oh my God. Jason is the father. Fucking shit." I paced back and forth. "Holy shit."
