Dinner Date

Hey Lovelies! I'm Emily I also work on this story mostly editing , proofreading and media but I write too. The outfit above is JJ's .
JJ's POV.
' O my gosh where is my phone ' I thought frantically as I was searching my home. I have a date with Derek in a 30 minutes , great I am going to be late. I am never late I think I'm nervous. This is our first date since we told the team. Rossi has already told Derek if he hurts me that and I quote "He will make it look like he goes easy on unsubs" I finally found my phone in the bathroom. I quickly grabbed my keys and purse and got in my car. I put the address of the cafe Derek gave me into the GPS. I turned on the radio and started to hum along to "Cool for the Summer" by Demi Lovato. (It's stuck in my head) 30 minutes of driving through bloody traffic and another 10 to actually get there I finally got out of the car. I spotted Derek and walked over to him. "Hello handsome" I greeted with a smile. " My beautiful queen has arrived fashionably late ... For once " he replied kissing my cheek while pulling out my chair allowing me to sit. I thanked him. I ordered a salad with grilled chicken along with a glass of tea. Derek order a BLT with extra bacon along with a Pepsi. Dinner was filled with small chatter and talk about the baby. Derek and I walked across the street to a park that didn't have to many people in it. After a few minutes he stopped and got down on one knee and pulled out a tiny box opening it. Inside was a simple yet elegant ring. "Jennifer Jareau since the day we met you have been a wonderful person and friend over the last two years you have made my life so much more livable and wonderful. I want to spend the rest of my life with you. Jennifer Jareau will you marry me?" He spoke. All my ability to speak was lost so I just nodded. He wrapped his strong arms around me and kissed me.
Did you like it? I tried to keep my slang out of it but I am a southern European-American.

I would also like to take a moment to honer Alan Rickman. He died yesterday after battling with cancer he was 69 years old. He played Professor Severus Snape in Harry Potter. I don't know if y'all are fans but he was a bloody amazing actor and person. In the Harry Potter world it is tradition to raise your wand to honer the fallen and since that is the role he is most known for I raise my wand.
