Chapter 4

Kim's POV:

Mia drags me over towards the counter to where 4 tall very hot boys are all standing just staring at at us. I see Michael and I can't help but blush a little. "Kim this is Ashton!" She says smiling while pointing towards a tall boy with brown curly hair and huge biceps. "This is Luke," she says as she now points towards a tall blonde boy with a lip piercing that makes him look even hotter, and his hair it's perfect. "This is Calum," she explains while pointing to a boy that kinda looks Asian but I'm not sure if he is or not. He's kinda cute, and has blonde highlights in his hair. "And this, is Michael! But you already knew that!" She says which causes me to blush and pinch her side without letting the boys notice.

"Hi guys, I'm Kim, Kim Johnson." I manage to say. "Hi Kim it's very nice to meet you," says Luke. "Yeah, Michael hasn't stopped talking about you since he saw you yesterday at the diner," Calum says butting in. I blush a little and look down at my feet. "Yeah yeah very funny guys, um Kim can I talk to you for a second, away from these bimbos?" Michael asks. I look up from the floor and show a small smile, "yeah sure ok!"

We walk over to where I was stacking the CDs earlier and I wait for him to talk. I think he's nervous because he keeps rubbing the back of his neck. "Well I was um wondering if maybe you'd like to um go out with me sometime, like um on a date or if you want it doesn't have to be a date or anything." He says nervously. I think it's pretty cute that he's nervous, how can I say no to him.

I pretend to think for a little before smiling and responding, "yes Michael I would love to go on a date with you!" His facial expression changes from nervous to happy in seconds, "great! That's fantastic, ok well how about tomorrow maybe around 5?" He asks. "Well since I don't work tomorrow yea that sounds fine, um where exactly are we going? You know so I can well um dress properly" I ask. He laughs before saying,"Kim I'm pretty sure you'll look great in anything, so I'm not telling you, it's a surprise!"

A surprise? Hm well this just got interesting. "Alright then well here let me give you my number and I'll see you tomorrow." We exchange numbers and then they leave. Wow only my second day here and I already have a date tomorrow, moving to Australia was probably the best choice I've made in my life. I start daydreaming about the date tomorrow when my thoughts are interrupted by Mia, "So?! We both have dates tomorrow and you know what that means!" "SHOPPING!!" We both yell out screaming and jump up and down a little.

We finish our shift and take off for the mall. We spend all afternoon going from store to store trying to find the perfect outfits, once we both find one that we approve of we head home to make diner since we're both starving. We get home and I start making diner while Mia takes a shower. I grab all the essentials to make spaghetti since I'm too tired to make anything else. I decide to wait till Mia's out of the shower to start eating. We eat while chatting about random things and then Mia offers to wash the dishes so that gives me the chance to hop in the shower.

Once I'm out I put on my Bears bottom pjs (because hello from Chicago) and a tank top then tie my hair in a bun and decide to go on Twitter. I get a text message so I get off Twitter and look at the message, it's from Michael. "Hey Kim, just making sure you haven't changed your mind about tomorrow! :)" I laugh at his slightly worried message. "Yes Michael I changed my mind, just kidding! No I haven't changed my mind. Why would I?" I text back. We text for a little while before I fall asleep thinking about that date tomorrow.
