Ocean

WATER

It was filling my lungs, I couldn't take a breath. If I did it would stick a needle in my chest. I could feel it start to fill up. I was waiting for impact.

Nothing

I couldn't take a breath, yet I could let I out one. I was just there. Nothing was happening. I couldn't see the surface of the ocean. Sunlight was shining though my pupils. I felt more than confused. Physics didn't even apply to this universe.

I had nothing

My head was practically spinning from how long I've looked around. Finally, I take my chances and head downwards. The amount of light begins to decrease. Suddenly, I feel something.

I no longer had nothing

I start to wonder. I thought about what sea level I was at. Yes, I'm that smart kid, but at least in a cute smart kid. I saw that the bolder next to me said something. As I got closer, something was carved. It stated the altitude that I was at, but it was also began state to my thoughts. I was amazed. I looked around and found a coral. I took it out and caressed in my hands.

The sand around me began to bloom into coral.

I giggled, even though the pain in my chest was unbearable. As I look down, I find myself wearing a floral Crop-top, a peach maxi skirt and a flower crown. What am I wearing?

I heard screaking. I look up to see a bird.

"You're wearing what you wish to wear "It told me

I swam to the surface to find myself at an island. Crystal blue water, sky high cliffs, green grass, and palm trees occupying the home of many coconuts. I am blown away by the sight before my eyes.

"What is this place?" I looked told me

I was in shock. I had made this island up when I was six. I start to run, faster than I ever have. I see the field of yellow daises and white roses.

It's close

As I turn the corner, the white and red hut is still looking nice. I look at the white French door. It was just like I remember. My hand rises to the door handle. I feel sweat running down my temple. The door squeaks as I enter the household.

"HELLO" I yell

I see a woman with a blonde pixie haircut come from the basement.

"My little Dannie" She put her hands on her mouth as tears started to drip on her sun dress.

"I haven't seen you in a while Jack" I smile
She was an old imaginary friend, I guess all of them lived "here" now.She looked at me in awe, I've never seen her this happy.

"Nothing was the same without you" She glowed "In matter of fact, have you seen Andy yet?"

"Um, no actually"

"Well, we are now" She smirked and quickly stood up.

She grabbed her sun hat matching her dress. I stood up with her and tried to walk out the door. She grabbed me by the wrist and pushed me back down.
"WAIT" She yelled "You're not going, until I give you a little make over"

"What, yeah , no way"

She put her hand on her hip to think and forcefully pulled me up the stairs.

Soon we appeared in a brightly colored room. It held a beautiful white bed and a desk with a mirror hanging above. As I look around the room, I stare in amazement.

"Ready, Teddy?"

"I think" I say as I sigh and sit down

I feel her starting and I stare my eyes into the mirror. I start to wonder, just as I begin I hear something. It was rumbling. A shatter pierces through the air. Jackie and I run downstairs to see numerous creatures. My anxiety heightened as I evaluated them. They had blood red skin and pimples all over. They wore heavy duty armor and had the smile of a criminal.

"DID YOU FIND THAT PIECE OF CRAP" a voice boomed through the air

A skinny, tan, Sana Try, brunette came out of the dust. She looked like she could kill someone

"No" a skinny tiny soldier said to her back.

"I told you, my butt is not my face" she turned swiftly

"I'm sor-" just in that second she snapped his neck. I heard his lifeless body fall to the ground.

Before I may gasp, a hand covers my mouth. A voice whispers to me

"Its me Andy" my shoulders relax bay the comforting news. "You need to go out there and think"

"The hell is 'thinking' going to do?"

"I am not going to put my life at risk because you think I'm a hero" I whispered

"Phoenix, this is in your head" he told me " You can't lose your life, we can"

My eyes moved from him to Jackie to the mob. I made a decision, I never rejected.

As I walked into the room, eyes glued on me. Many of them tried to pounce ,but I caused them more pain than they could ever do to me. My eyes didn't even glimpse at them as they were on the tiled floor in pain. I walked over to Sara as I noticed my necklace I made as a kid around her neck.

She stole it.

"Give me it" I stared at her

"What your dignity, not a chance" She scoffed

I got closer and took the piece of purple quartz in my hand. I ripped it off of her neck.

I have no idea where this sudden burst of energy came from, but I like it

She fell to the ground and held her neck where the red line was marked. I grabbed her chin, so she looks at me.

"If you ever threaten my friends or my property again, I will make sure you won't see another sunset " I said as I bore a hole in to both her eyes.

She slowly crawled away from the scene and I stare at the sky in victory.

I walk towards Andy and Jackie

A pain hits my chest

I fall to the floor

I try and gasp for air

I gasp and gasp,but nothing is coming in

Everything is blacking out

"Phoenix?"

My eyes flutter open
