O bridge let me on your other side,
So I may see what you hide,
Your palaces with gold,
Secrets no one knows,
When night falls in Saint Petersburg,
The ships pass through during the sky full of snow,
But me the civilian cannot pass,
Not to church to get to mass,
Not to the shop to buy a mirror,
To mirror expressions or to hear him or her,

Closer than anything could seem,
