Hi. My name is Trinity Janelle Northern aka Trin. I'm 23 years old. I'm not in college anymore. I live with my bestfriend Karmin aka Minni. She lives with me in my house actually. Minni and I are real close friends. We've known each other for almost 5 years now. I work at Foot Locker along with Karmin. Karmin is the manager, and I'm assistant manager. We work in the morning. Since we don't go to school anymore, we are working almost every day except for Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday. I have been seeing this guy named Javon, but he's been kinda distant lately. I don't know what's going on, but I'm gonna find out sooner or later. Right now I'm at work with Minnie.
Karmin: Trin.
Trinity: Wassup?
Karmin: I think I found out why Javon has been pretty distant from you.
Trinity: What you talking about?
Karmin: Turn around.
I turned around and saw Javon kissing another girl. I started to boil inside. He claims that he loves me and wants to be with me, but he's fucking around with other girls. This makes no since.
Trinity: I'll be back.
Karmin: Handle your business.
I walked over to him and just stood there waiting for them to notice me. I finally decided to break this up. I pushed him away from the girl and stood in front of him.
Javon: Baby.
Trinity: Nigga that's not my name. Save that shit. Why would you do that Javon? You say you wanna be with me all the time, now I see you out here with another girl, right in front of my job. Knowing damn well I had to work today. So I was gonna see you if you we're standing here.
Javon: Trinity, I'm so sorry. I didn't mean for this to happen. I'm sorry.
Trinity: You know what Javon, forget it. I'm done
Javon: What you mean?
Trinity: I mean I'm done with you. Its over. I don't wanna be with you at all anymore. I've givin you a second chance, and you blew it. I'm not giving you anymore chances. So you can apologize all you want. Its never gonna happen again. *turns to the girl* I don't have anything against you. I honestly don't care if you tried to get with him or if he tried to get with you. If you want him, you can have him.
Girl: Oh nahh I'm good. He never mentioned anything about having a girl.
Trinity: Oh okay. Well I'm Trinity.
Girl: Karina. Nice to meet you.
Trinity: You too. You can call me Trin.
Karina: Rina.
Trinity: Well I gotta get to work. How about you come meet my bestfriend.
Karina: Sure.
*They walk off leaving Javon standing there.*
Karmin: Trin what's going on?
Trinity: Karmin this is Karina. I know she was just with Javon, but he never said anything about me to her, so why have something against her. Its not her fault she didn't know about me. So I decided to be nice and make friends with her. So like I said this is Karina. Karina this is my bestfriend Karmin.
Karina: Hey, you can call me Rina.
Karmin: Call me Minni. Nice meeting you.
Karina: Well, I gotta get going.
Trinity: Okay, maybe we can do something together as a group one day?
Karmin: I'm down. We could go shopping. Get our nails done.
Karina: I would love to. Give me your number and we'll work this out.
Trinity: Iight cool.
*They swap numbers and Karina leaves*
Trinity: *sighs*
Karmin: You alright?
Trinity: A little hurt, but I'm okay.
Karmin: Iight boo. Well let's get back to work.
*They get back to work.*
You see, my life is hard. I go through things that I never thought I would go through. My dad died when I was 8. My mom left when I was only 16. I stayed with my grandma, but she was very sick. A year later she died, so I was left by myself. All I had was myself. I really didn't have any friends by my side. I just had me. Ever since I was 16, I've been by myself. I struggled, but then I picked myself up. I started with my god mom until I found a house at the age of 18. I got into college, now I'm good. I'm 23 years old. Finished college. Got my own house. Got a job. So I'm good. Even though I haven't gone through anything in a little while other than this situation with Javon, I know that there's more to come. That's how life is. Its full of challenges.
