The New Girl

The Bay Window

Ok so for this point farther this will be told from Mayas point of veiw, because I feel like it will make it better, so please don't hate because of this.

"You should come to my house!" I say to Riley, we are at school, that party Friday was awesome.
"Okay, Why?" She asks me giving me a sideways glance.
"Because, your my new bestie and I have something I show all my besties!" I say, trying to sound excited, but I'm truly not.
"Okay, let's go after school!" She says and I nod, she turns and walks away and I sigh with relief, she was starting to get on my nerves.
I turn away from my locker, and walk into the lunch room, I told Riley that I have to sit with the guys today for a project, but I really just have to talk to Lucas.
I get to the lunch line, I'm stuck behind the 'popular' boys Zach, Dave and Zay. Zay turns to see me, Riles seems to think he likes me, but it's hard to tell.
"Hey, Foxy!" He says eyeing me up and down, stopping at certain 'parts' of me.
"Eww, go away!" I say rolling my eyes at him, he seriously gets on my nerves, and I go to grab a tray, but he grabs my hand and entangle's his fingers within mine, "STOP!" I yell pulling away, I must have yelled loud because everyone is looking now.
"Take a Picture it'll last longer!" Zay yells making my face go bright red, and something comes over me but all of a sudden my fist collides with his face.
And I hear somebody behind me, I turn it's Farkle, he starts to walk me away but, "DON'T EVER TOUCH ME AGAIN, CREEPY CREEP CREEP!" I scream, and Farkle is now covering my mouth with his fingers and walking me to the table.
"What the Hell was that?" He says releasing me, and I sit down.
"He grabbed me and wouldn't stop looking at me!" I say, a little more harshly than expected . 'Sorry' I mutter under my breathe, he doesn't notice.
"That doesn't mean you punch him!" He says and I can see Mr. Matthews walking Zay out of the lunch room from the corner of my eye.
"Sorry, if I don't like being touched, unless by somebody special!" I say, noticing Lucas standing behind Farkle, I see a smile form upon his face, and I do the same in return. Farkle then turns to see what I'm smiling at, and sees Lucas, "Ohhh..." he says then finally sits down, leaving a seat for Lucas right beside me!
"Hey" I say to him, still smiling crazily.
"Hey!" He says, I love his smile, he should wear it more often
"I think I like somebody!" I bravely say to Farkle, he looks me straight into the eyes and asks "who?" But I'm sure he already knows!
I look to Lucas and smile "Well, he's a Huckelberry, Ranger Rick and Bucky Mc Boing Boing!" I say and Lucas looks up from his tray, because I only call him those things and he knows it.
"I like sombody too!" Lucas say, catching my attention.
"Who?" Charlie asks this time.
"Maya Penelope Hart, that's Who!" He says, I'm kinda shocked but also not surprised.
"How do you know my middle name?" I ask trying to play it cool, when inside I'm freaking out!
"Lucky geuss?" He says, he's a really bad lair.
"Really?" I ask.
"Mr. Matthews attendance records..." he admits, and I can't help but laugh, it doesn't seem like something he would do.
"Very funny, I didn't think a Huckelberry like you would do something like that" I say, smirking.
"I geuss I did" he says, making me smile a little bit more
And we went on talking like this for all of lunch.
Now me and Riley are on the subway, on our way to my apartment.
We finally get to my stop and hop off the train and start to walk to my place, my mom's most likely not home so we'll go through my window. There's a fire escape right outside it, making it easy to get in and out.

We both climbed through my Bay Window. And she stares around my room, it's pretty plain and simple, but I like it, I still have to unpack a lot but it's pretty comfortable.
I pat a seat next to me at the bay window. "This is my secred place, I tell my vest stories, have my best plans..." My voice trails off a bit, she doesn't know about our plan. "And make the best friends" I say smiling to her, she smiles directly back.
"You and I live like so far away from each other, it totally sucks." She says, her voice is that of a bratty childs, but I've gotten used to it by now, I have to for the plan.
"Totally, you like my window?" I ask, not knowing anything else to say.
"Tot's! I feel like we'll be here a lot!" She says hugging me, I hug her back. "Oh, I have something for you!" She says, pulling a tiny box out of her bag," Go on open it, go on, open it, go on, ok, I'll open it!" She's says, abviously excited about it. "It's friendship rings!"
I slip mine on as she does with hers, and it fits perfectly, "Ring power?"
"Ring Power!" And we both go into giggle fits, "I should probably get home, my mom's probably upset that I'm not home yet!" She says, making it seem like she actually didn't want to leave.
"Okay, bye Riles" I exclaim.
"Bye Peaches!" Peaches was her nickname for me, I don't understand it but she does.
And I think we'll be spending a lot of time here, at the Bay Window.
