A POV
I had texted Danny about a million times because I couldn't hold back my excitement. Stevie was so cool, and I couldn't wait for our date tonight. Well I'm hoping it's a date.. we didn't exactly specify but I think it was implied. As soon as I got into the car I looked at Danny and smiled ear to ear.
"Well are you going to give me details or are you just going to sit there and smile at me the whole time??" he said annoyed
I told him everything that had happened from last night when I first walked up to her until this morning when I left. He was determined to meet her, he had always been like a brother to me so if anyone came into my life, he had to approve of them. When we were driving I realized that we had passed the exit for my house and I looked at him confused.
"What are you doing you just passed the exit? Where are we going?" I asked
"We're going to the mall. You need an outfit for tonight don't you?" he asked obviously knowing the answer
S POV
It was 2:30 and our date wasn't until 7 so I had time plenty of time to get ready. I grabbed my phone and decided to text Hannah to come over so that she could help me decide what to wear. After I sent her the text I hopped into the shower as I waited for Hannah to arrive.
I took about 30 minutes to shower and i got out and quickly dried off and decided to just keep the towel around my body since I still had no idea what I was going to wear. Once I step out of the bathroom and head to my room I hear a knock on my door. I walk down the stairs and open the door to see Hannah standing there with her bag and a couple of clothes in her hands.
"Okay so first option is jeans, black tank, and cute sandals! Second option.."
She continues her lost not even greeting me as she makes her way up to my room going over all of my options. When I finally decide on an outfit, she sits me down and starts to do my hair while I do my makeup. We talked about everything that happened last night and this morning and I told her about Ally walking out of the car, and everything that happened after. Hannah seemed to think it was so interesting that she would stop what she was doing and just stare at me giving me her full attention. It was nice to know she actually listened and didn't just say "yeah" here and there. She has been my best friend for a while now and I'm glad I had her to help me out with this date tonight.
I finished getting ready and it was 6:30 which meant I should probably start leave to go pick her up. I didn't want to be late for our first date and I figured it might take me a little longer since j had no idea where her house was. I told Hannah she could stay until I got home so I could tell her the details after and she agreed. I walked out the door and into my car and typed her address into my phone and drove off.
A POV
I started getting ready around the same time I got home. I had plenty of time and once I figured out what to wear the rest was easy. It still took me about 3 hours to get ready but it was faster then usual. I went into the living room plopping down onto my couch so that I could just wait for Stevie to get here.
I have to admit I'm pretty nervous. I'm more nervous of flirting with her and getting shut down since she seems to e way out of my league. I waited about 5 minutes until I heard a knock on my door so I stood up quickly, and walked over to the door.
I opened the door and was greeted by a smile. Stevie looked gorgeous like always. She didn't even have to wear a fancy dress and have a face full of makeup on. She looked gorgeous no matter what she was in. I looked her up and down checking her out and I think she noticed I began to stare because she make a snarky comment.
