The Beacon of Hope

Prologue

She walked threw the Aquarium remembering everything as she has been threw it many times. She was about to head home until she realized a door at the back of the room. It had a lock on it but the lock was off. She knew she probably shouldn't but she went anyways. She walked up to the door and looked at it for a moment. Then she slowly reached out her hand and grabbed the doorknob. She turned the doorknob and then opened the door.

She looked around at the place. She has been to all the places in this Aquarium but not once has she seen this one. She looked around amazed. "Why was this place closed off," She said to herself. Ba-dum. The sound of a heart beat. When she looked around all the water has turned a bright red. Ba-dum ba-dum. The heartbeat picked up. Inside the water there were human bodies floating about other than fish.

She woke up in her bedroom. She looked around then she realized something. She couldn't breathe. It was like she couldn't breathe unless she saw the color red. She wiped open the windows and stuck her head out the window. She went to take in a giant breath but she still couldn't breathe. She stepped up on the window and jumped. That's when she saw it and smiled. "It's.. Red..." She said while falling from the 12 floor in the hotel. Drip drip. The sound of the drops hitting the floor filled her ears. Drip drip. She opened her eyes and then held out her hands and stopped the last drop with her own two hands. It was red.
