Chapter one: Tomorrows the Big Day

"So have you heard of the one where the director drowned in the deep sea both so they never got to open it..." My friend was rambling on about the Aquarium that is said to be hunted. They sat in the back of the room where nobody really bothered them. I sat there staring out the window not really paying attention to what Lexi was telling me. "Abby are you even listening to me?" I looked over to see Lexi looking kind of upset.

I closed my eyes and smiled nervously "No sorry," I laughed a little.

She pouted and then smiled and she jumped over to my seat and then stole something from my lunchbox. "Hey!" I yelled at Lexi "That's what you get for not listening," Lexi laughed

I crossed my arms and looked back out the window and saw a guy I have never seen before in my life. I stared at him. He had dark brown hair and light brown eyes. He looked up threw the window at me. I looked surprised and then turned my head back to Lexi. "Abby you have been really shaken up lately are you ok?" Lexi asked worried.

I looked at her and smiled "Yea I am fine," I said and then I put my head down.

Lexi put her hand on my back and then looked at me. She looked really worried but I didn't want to tell her. I couldn't tell her cause I made a promise. I promised I would go to that Aquarium with her. I can't tell her I lost my little sister there 5 years ago. I just couldn't. "Abby if there is anything wrong you know you can tell me right?" Lexi looked at me in the eyes.

I smiled and then I patted her head "Like I said I am ok," I looked at her smiling.

She smiled "So then can't wait till tomorrow to go to that hunted Aquarium right? The one that I want to find out if it is true the most is if the water really turns into blood and you can see human heads floating around in the blood!" She said excitedly.

I looked out the window back down at the guy. I wonder if he is new? No that can't be I heard we aren't getting any new kids this year... Who is this guy.. I thought even more thoughts then this to myself. While I was thinking all of this someone walked up to him and I knew this person. It was one of my best friend his name is Anthony. He walked up and talked to the guy and they seemed to be having fun. He looked up and waved to where the other guy turned around. The guy I didn't know smiled softly and waved to me.

I looked down at the two as they waved and I waved back. While I was waving to them the bell rang and I stood up. I walked out from around my chair and met eye to eye with Lexi. She looked at me with a devilish smile. "Make sure you get some sleep tonight, don't wanna be tired for tomorrow," She said in a devilish voice.

I looked at her with a smile and the frowned a little "I will get enough sleep like I do every night," I laughed a little.

I smiled at Lexi and then I started walking out of the class room with Lexi by my side.  When we got to the door of the classroom she went to the left and I went to the right.  I waved to her goodbye and she started running to the left and I slowly walked to the right with mY head down.

Because of the fact that I had my head down I bumped my head into someone.  I grabbed the top of my head and looked up to see who I ran into.  When I saw who it was I smiled "Hi Anthony, are you heading home?" I asked him

He put his hand on the back of his head and smiled "Yea I was wondering if you could come over.  I am having  my new friend Cris come over and I thought maybe the to of you could get to know each other," when he said this the man behind him waved to me

I looked at him and waved.  It was the guy that I saw outside the window.  Up close I could get a better look at him.  He was a handsome man with brown hair and brown eyes Just like Anthony.  "Well?" I hear Anthony ask as I was looking at Cris.

I laughed a little and put my hands together on my chest and I smile "I would come over but you see I have a lot of work to get done so I will be going now.  It was nice to met you Cris.  Goodbye Anthony," I say all of this while walking away and when I get far enough I turned around and ran threw the school.

When I got out of the school I looked up at the school to see Cris looking down at me.  I looked up at him then turned around and started walking home.  I lived pretty close to the school but it was still a pain to walk.  The hole time while walking home I was thinking of the Aquarium and Cris and seeing if they wanted to go with us.  I was caught up in my thinking that I didn't realize I was already at my house.  I ran up the drive way and to the door.  I put my hand on the doorknob and open the door walking in "I'm home,"

I knew my family wasn't home.  They are never home on week days.  I took off my shoes and shut the door walking in.  When I walked in my living room was right there.  I took a left in the hall way and walked towards my bedroom door.  I grabbed the doorknob and opened my bed room door.  I walked in my room shutting the door behind me.  I sat down on the bed and took off my backpack looking in it for my book.  When I found my book I opened to the chapter I had to read for my homework.

After I was done reading I looked at the time and saw it was 7:30. Perfect  I thought to myself as that was the time I usually go to bed.  I put the bookmark in the book and closed it, setting it back in my backpack.  I got up and walked to the side of my room were a chair is and threw my backpack in the chair.  I stared at it for a moment remembering how my little sister would always sit in that chair whenever see was in my room.  I turned around and walked back over to my bed and laid down without covers.  I looked up at the ceiling and stuck my hand in the air.  Looking at the back of my hand I narrowed my eyes.  "Tomorrow is the big day..." I said aloud to myself.  Then I let my hand fall on its own to my side and I shut my eyes going to bed.
