While waiting to show up at school, you think, when will it ever get better? Why do I always feel this way? You hope that maybe, school will be better. Yet, you know it'll only be worse. Just then you pull up into the school's parking lot. When you walk to your locker, things don't start out good. Your locker has been vandalized. In big letters "fat whore" has been written all over. Also "Why don't you just die?" is written there too. To make things better, your lock is flipped. As you struggle to open it, Michael, your guy friend, walks by. He doesn't even notice. Walking to class is horrible. People look at you weird and laugh as you go by. Being there isn't any better. The teacher constantly lectures you about your grades. People stare when you raise your hand so now you just sit in the back of the room and try to focus. After the hour is over you walk straight to your next class. Bad idea. There are already a few kids there and once you walk in you become the target for a spit ball contest. Since the teacher is out of the room, there's no one to stop it. As soon as Mr. Greeley returns, the spitballs stop flying and you are drenched in spit and waded up paper. You pull off all the paper, sit down, and wait quietly until the bell rings to end class. The class drags on for what seems like hours while Mr. Greeley talks about how your next unit will be calculus and to be ready. "Yeah right", you think, "I'll never pass". Just then the bell rings and everyone storms for the door. You get pushed and shoved in the commotion. No one notices. As you finally get out the door, you accidently bump into Sydney McKinney, the most popular girl in school, "Sorry" you managed to say. "Yeah whatever watch where you're going hoe!" she exclaims back at you. "When will this ever end?" you wonder.
