As we swayed our bodies to Bryson Tiller, Roland's hands wrapped around my hips.

This man made me feel comfortable. I always had a great time with my husband and being in his company.

Although it was about 340 other people that I could see around us, I felt like we were the only two in the room.

"Rock." I heard someone call. Roland didn't respond nor move a muscle from how we were already dancing. The voice called his name again, this time I could tell that it was a female.

"Oh so you dancing with a hoe, so you don't hear me?" At that comment I looked up and saw one of Ro's workers. She was what I call a decoy.

Ro always used girls in case he needed to set somebody up, and I remember him introducing me to her, years ago.

"Excuse me?" I spoke over the music.

"Oh shit! I'm sorry B. I just thought I could get a quick word with him. I'll bring him back, I promise." The way that she tugged him away from me, stirred a pot of irritation inside of me.

He was nearly pissy drunk, so I knew that there was no way that he could have a serious conversation with her, or even concentrate correctly. But the way she just snatched him away, made me go sit my ass down before I broke something on her.

"What's wrong Ma?" G asked as Quita came over behind him. "Nothing, one of Ro's little stick up hoes just called me a hoe and then snatched him away."

"She did what? Oh hell nah! Where she at?" Quita got riled up instantly. "Nah, I'm not about to fight over my husband. He knows where home is."

We all traveled back to the VIP section, and I ended up going up to Ro's office. He had a window that oversaw basically the entire club.

I checked up on the kids, seeing that is was almost midnight, and then I went over to the window. As I scammed the crowd, I saw Ro's hand up in the air.

I looked closer to see the same girl that grabbed him away from me, bent over in front of him and grinding all over him.

I remember her dress being short, so I know she felt anything that he had on his lap. Freddy then came over to him and whispered something into his ear and he waved him away.

I watched with an aching inside of me as they continued to dance like he wasn't married, and like she didn't care that he was.

I shook my head as I locked his office back up.

The thought of me going to slap the shit out of the both of them kept crossing my mind, but I knew it was only the liquor talking.

I spotted G and gestured for him to put his ear close to my mouth so he could hear me.

"Tell your brother to go home with that bitch tonight. I'm gone." G looked back at me confused, until pointed over to the couple.

Tears streamed out of my eyes as she pressed her lips onto his neck and his hands wandered all over her body, eventually going up the bottom of her dress. I didn't know what the hell to do.

G held me back as I looked at them.

I went outside and leaned against the wall of the club. Quita came out with me as I cried every tear in my body that I had.

"Baby girl its gonna be alright." Quita held me as I cried onto her white silk blouse. "Niggas just ain't shit sometimes." I shook my head and pulled out my phone.

"I'll take you home." She offered, making me shake my head. Knowing that it was late and she would have to come back to get G.

"No I'm good." I said as I wiped my face. I remembered words that my grandfather and father always told me.
