e words rang in my ear. "Im still going to kill her." he said. This Grimmjow guy said that. He is an arrancar. I know nothing about them. This would be my second encounter with them. I shivered in fear. Have you ever had that voice in your head say something to you? I never have until at this moment. This Grimmjow character pulled out his sword and all i can hear is, "RUN YOU FOOL RUN!!! HE IS GOING TO KILL YOU! WHY ARE YOU STANDING STILL? RUN! RUN!!!!!!!!!!" I stood in total shock. My feet wouldn't budge. I was... scared? Yes thats what it is. There is something intimidating about him. "Why won't you run you idiot?! YOU NEED TO RUN! GET OUT OF THERE????!!!! HURRY." I blinked my eyes. A sudden pain appeared in my stomach. I curled over looking down, finding a sword in my stomach. I clenched my teeth together trying not to scream. Black came in and out. There is no I am going to loose consciousness now. NOT NOW!!!!

I released my reiatsu. Grabbed my zanpokuto and slashed out at him. He dodged with what seemed like little effort. All you have to do is fight hijm off until back up comes. I swung at him again. And again i missed him. He swung down with his fist and punched me in the face. The he threw his arm acrossed hitting me and making me fly out into the street. i landed on my back. The compaction with the road left me in a fit of coughs. Afterward I rolled over and stood up. My legs shook a little but i was fine. I walked over to my zanpakuto and lifted it up. I coughed, leaned over and spit up blood.

Hearing a chuckling sound i look up. "Your weak." Grimmjow says.

"Your one to talk. Your the one picking a fight with me for no reason."
.
He glared at me for a moment then giving me an evil grin he said, "I expected since your a shinigami you might have given me more of a challenge."

I flash stepped and appeared behind him. I swung down. He moved swiftly out of my way, but not quick enough. I had left a scrath on his back. He grimaced, and came at me. He swung his right fist at me. I ducked under him, and kicked upward, but he got out of my way. He swung down his sword at me, but i rolled out of the way. It nicked my cheeck. I stood up, as did he. I felt blood trickling down my cheek.

I wiped the blood off. "Well this is tiring." He said. "I'm going to bring this to an end!"

"Big talk." I say. "Arise, Kaze Raikou!" I yelled.
.
He yawned as if this were the most boring fight he has been in. Big mistake I thought. I flashed step to his side and swung, but he flash stepped to my other side and swung. I threw my sword to my side, our swords collided, and mine sent electricity currents down his sword to his hand and up his arm.

I could tell that he now was the one clentching his teeth. If i could have guessed any better i'd say that he was pissed. I smiled in satisfaction. So what was he saying about finishing this off. I chuckled to myself. Closing my eyes i called out to my sword, "Shokkingu kei!" When I opened my eyes he was in front of my just as i planned for. He stabbed his sword into my stomach. Igrinned and looked up at him.

"Shinigami, why are you smiling? You are about to die." he says.

"I think differ." I reply.
.
I stabbed my sword into his side, and let off my power. A large light flashed into him with a loud clattering noise. Smoke flew into the air. I knew it was a bad idea to make an attack so close up, especially since my swords powers are more of a long distance types.

Once the smoke cleared up i saw that the arrancars were gone. The only thing left was blood remnants on the groud. Looking down at myself i noticed the Grimmjows sword was gone, but my wound wasn't. My blood was spilling out of me and onto my clothing. My knees began to go weak and my eyes began to close. I coughed up a bit more blood. As i began falling to the ground, i heard shouting, and felt two warm arms wrap around my stomach. Forcing myself, I looked and saw Toshiro looking down at me with a worried look on his face. "She needs help." He said. "Take her back.......now......she bleeds to........ and cant be...... and dies......" After coming in and out of consciousness i heard Toshiro say that, than i blacked out and collapsed in his arms."

I came in and out of consciousness the next day. When i finally awoke i noticed i was lying on a cot in Urahara's shop. I looked around as best as i could. As far as i could tell i was alone in the room. Looking down i seen my shirt was torn and i had bandages wrapped around my stomach. "Idiot. I told you not to fight back. I told you to run."

"Wait.... Am i thinking that to myself?" I mumbled to myself. I shook my head. I must be way tired. I tried to sit up but the pain was to unbearable. I gasped in the shock of the pain. I heard a door slide open and seen Rangiku come in. "Looks like your finally conscious again."

I smile and say, "Ya, It's painful though. Kinda wish i could go to sleep, wake up and not be in pain."
.
"Wish things worked that way."
.
I wonder why Toshiro is always there when i'm about to die....
.
"Hey, Where is Toshi..... I uh, mean Captain Hitsugya?"
.
"He is in this room." I heard someone mumble through the closed door.

"I assume thats him.?"
.
"You assume correctly." He said walking in through the door. "How are you feeling?"

"Light headed."
.
"I see. Rangiku, can you leave for a moment."
.
Oh my gawd! He wants to spend alone time with me?!!! Wait, since when did i even care?

"Mara, your face. It's red. Are you sick?"
.
Oh my. Why am i blushing. I never blush. Aren't i suppose to be to young to be interested in boys?

"I'm fine really." I say trying to convince myself more than him.
.
"Okay. What were you going fighting an espada on your own?"
.
"Espada?" I ask.
.
"Oh that's right you weren't here to learn what they are. Well to put it clearly there are ten from what we know of. The most strongest of arrancar. They go from 1-10."

I nodded my head showing i understood than flinched and closed my eyes. Bad idea. My head began to pound. I lifted my hand and put it on my head.

"Mara?" I heard him ask, than ifelt his hand on top of mine, moving it so he could feel my forehead. I let my hand drop to my side. My face bagan to get really hot with him being se close to me. I could feel my face beggining to turn red, before flushing white completely. "Rangiku!" He yelled. "Go find Orihime. I don't know how much more of this Mara can take."

"Yes, sir." She said.

I could feel him sitting next to me with one hand on my hand and the other on my forehead.

"Mara, i want you to lay down okay?"
.
If it hadn't hurt so much i probably would have nodded my head, but instead i tried to lay back, gasping as my stomach sent a thrill throughout my body as if i were being stabbed a million times. I clenched my teeth and stayed sitting. "I cant--" I began but felt his arm move onto my back. He was sitting behind me from what i could tell. He was helping me lay backwards. There was pain but not as much as before. Finally my head was resting against him on his lap. I felt his hand wipe across my face. I didn't realize it until now, but i had tears going down my cheeks. I began to breathe harder. And than i blacked out again.
