Drowning

When I saw your eyes

I was

Drowning.

They were as

Deep and blue

As the

Ocean.

They had the power

To pull me

Under,

Like a surfer on a

Massive wave.

It was too late

To come back up

For I couldn't

Breathe.

You pulled me into this

Sea of loneliness,

This dark abyss

With you.

And you left before

I realized what happened.

I'm sure you didn't

Mean to,

And I doubt that

You care.

But I

Drowned

In your

Eyes,

And it's too late

To save me

Now.
