Chapter 6 The Fairy And The Spriggan

Narrators POV
It's been four years since that day and the orphanage was as wild as ever. New people had joined them including a girl named Wendy and Carla, the guild continued to go on in peace and everything was right...well almost everything...

A mysterious boy and girl walked down a bare street, carrying news that could change Fairy Tail for the better or worse...

Mavis's POV

I stared down the bare streets as I could almost hear Fairy Tail calling my name, excitement and nervousness latching on to me. I looked over to Zeref my mood wavering to a worried state. "Are you nervous?" I couldn't help but ask.

He looked over to me with a smile that obviously was trying to be used to hide his nervousness. "No..." I only shook my head in disbelief, this was going to be the biggest moment of his life anyone would be nervous. I suppose I should explain.

You see the man who now walked before me was Zeref the most evil, influential, most wanted person to walk on this earth, the devil who took human form. Or at least that's what every one else believes.

The man who he truly was is Zeref the most caring, smartest, and kindest person I had ever met. You see at a young age he lost his brother when he was taken away from him while he was away at a university.

He became saddened taking his sadness into his studies, claiming to create a better world. A world where he could be happy with his brother, and parents who had passed on.

His professer not liking this path he was straying to, had threatened to throw him out of the university if he continued to work like this. Not to long after, his entire university was murdered by a group of bandits.

Society had seen this and assumed he had killed them out of snapping from loosing his entire family. He was locked up spending his life in prison with people of crime attempting to follow his path. He was now let out on the patrol of my watch after I had solved what really happened.

He is also the man I fell in love with.

When Zeref was asked what he would like to do first now that he was released was to go see his brother who was taken to an orphanage. I had asked him if he was sure about that. He only nodded his head with a determined smile and saddened eyes. So here we were heading to the orphanage called Fairy Tail to find his brother.

When we finally reached the orphanage he pulled his hood over his head face down to hide his face. Being sure they wouldn't take the most evil criminal in the world just waltzing in to kindly.

As we entered keeping off to the side we examined the guild as I turned to him. "What did you say your brother looked like again?" I asked keeping my voice low. " He has a scaly scarf, and rusty fire like hair or as most people prefer to it as pink."

As I scanned through the guild my eyes latched on to pink hair sitting next to a blonde who wrote while the boy ate enough to fill three people.
So this is Zeref's brother.
