ten minutes into car ride

"it's a surprise."

soon enough, we pulled into the restaurant.

it was this fancy restaurant called giovanni's. {i dont remember if they have one of these in portland but they have one about ten minutes from where i live so yeah idk}

the dinner was special, but nothing too special.

he complimented how i looked a few times, we ate dinner, and we left.

hospital parking lot

i had just pulled into the hospital parking lot to drop jenica off.

"do you want me to go in with you or no?"

"i mean, only if you want to.. turns out my bestfriend is coming tomorrow too. it was supposed to be a surprise, but anthony can't keep his mouth shut," she laughed, "i'm actually pretty excited."

"that's great. you go on up, and i'll be back in about half an hour with some clothes, okay?"

"great. see you," she leaned over the console to peck my cheek.

she climbed out of the car going into the lit up building.

i drove home, put some clothes in a bag, and drove back to the hospital.
