Paige's Daring Admirer

I walked to Liz's room happy to be celebrating a birthday. "Hey Liz?" I knocked on the door.

Liz opened up immediately, "shhhhhhh!" She closed the door and tiptoed to the stair case which about a month ago I dumped water on her. "Bring back memories?" Liz said turning around to look at me.

"Yeah," I said and followed her down the stairs. "So where are we going?" I asked as we got down the stairs. "Well she likes violin so she likes classical music."

"So," I said opening the door.

"We are going to do a classical party. I found this book store that's letting me rent out a room." Liz said happily calling a taxi.

"That's great!" I said happily to.

Many minutes later we got to an old library. There were many boxes around the room. "Now purple ribbon or violet?"

"What's the difference?" I asked walking over.

"Oh there's a difference." Liz said not turning her head.

"Go away!" I heard a voice yell outside.

"Huh?" I said turning around.

"Wha?" Liz said half listening as she put a purple ribbon across the bookcase. I walked out of the room toward crying, which I didn't realize was walking toward me.

BUMP! "Oh-oh-oh sorry Courtly." Paige said her eyes full of tears. I froze in shock, not because she was crying but because she was right there. Right next to her surprise birthday party area. "I got to go." Paige said after awhile. She picked up her back pack and walked off.

"Paige are you alright?" I say running up to her.

She looked at me, then she started bursting in tears. "Shaun, is-I-is ga-ga-gay!" She yells.

"I didn't know you guys were in a relationship." I say as she throws herself at me.

"We weren't in a relationship it's just, I've had a crush on him for such a long time, and I turned down Daring for him."

"Daring liked you!" I said surprised.

"In middle school, he asked me out to the Fairy Formal and I turned him down. I asked Shaun to go to the Fairy Formal with me and he said as friends. I tried everything, then he admitted to me he was gay and- a bahahaha!" Paige started crying again.

"Courtly seriously we need to focus on Pai- never mind." Liz said noticing Paige was crying and turned away.

"Paige are you ok?" Daring said walking toward Paige.

"H-hi Daring." Paige said getting off of me and whipping her tears.

"I-I-I wanted to talk to you but now doesn't seem like a good time." Daring said scratching the back of his head.

"It's noth-" Paige got interrupted by Daring who kissed Paige.

"Sorry I'm sorry. I couldn't, I should go." Daring said walking away. Paige stood there shocked.
