SKYLER

I struggled to open my eyelids as a small thin line of light shined brightly, Making me squeal and bawl my eyes shut. I take a deep breath and look up, a light bulb.

Then I take a look at my surroundings, I seem to be tied up to a wooden chair. I try to pull away but the grip on the ropes are stronger than me, clearly it's no use. I eagerly pull again, failing.

"Troy tied them hard enough for you not to try one of your silly ideas." I cocked my head up, confused.

It was the man I was expecting, his ruffled blonde hair, now loosened up shirt, holding a bottle of scotch, sitting right before me.

How the hell did he get there ?

The room was dark, it was only me and him this time.

I don't say a word. I let him do the explaining.

"Your dear father and me, made an agreement that I would stay away from you, just to keep you safe but I had went against him on that. I mean, I didn't believe him when he spoke of you murdering my mother." He spat with disgust rolling on his slurry words.

"Which is one of the reasons I came back," he frowned, lines creasing on his forehead. I could see the pain and hatred in his eyes but I stood shut, in utter shock.

I wanted to know how he felt about it, maybe I would get the answer I needed.

"To find out the truth." He proceeded.

"Is that why you -you, started booking motel rooms, going out late at night into those clubs, so you could stay away from home, from your thoughts, from all the things that reminded you of me ?" He asked, tears spilling from his eyes.

He was hurt.

"You knew I would come back if you had hurt someone I cared for, you knew," he chuckles viciously and leans back on the chair, cleaning up his tears.

"You have to become close to them then betray in order to get to them, destroy them, right ? Like father like daughter." I finally spoke, glaring back at him.

He knew, he knew everything I tried so deeply to bury.

"I knew papa would tell you what I did, and he had made my plan complete, all I needed was-"

"- Me." He finishes and I grin like if I had won the worlds greatest trophy.

Bingo.

"Papa wasn't trust worthy at all, and it was great to challenge him. I wanted answers, he wanted to tear you apart. He didn't love me, it was easy enough. He would never love anyone but himself." I spoke, my hands trembling.

"A daughter like me he didn't want. This was suppose to happen a year ago the night when you came to get me, which caused me to question your appearances and then I finally made it my destiny to find out why you always came looking for me, every time. Almost as if you were running away from someone and somehow I was the only who could help,  as if I could protect you, knowing you should of protected me instead ! and I ask myself, who in the hell could Jason actually be afraid of ?"
