~Nova's POV~

I hop into the passenger seat of my now beat up car and sigh at all of the empty bottles. Before completely losing my mind at the events that've taken place in this car after I got out of it, I cradle all of the bottles in my arms and throw them into the dumpster.

"You ready?" Harry puts his hand on the small of my back.

"Yeah, of course." I sigh, flipping my hair out of my face walking back into the car.

Harry starts up the car and pulls into the road. "Where am I going to love?"

"Drive onto the bridge first."

"I think you're forgetting that I don't know my way around this city." He smirks.

"Let me drive Harry. It'll be faster that way."

"But I want to help–"

"It's fine. I promise you've helped a whole lot. You can come with me if that makes you feel better." I try to sound less agitated, he pulls over and gets out of the car walking over to my side, I crawl over to the driver's seat.

"Alright let's go." He hastily puts on his seat belt. I pull back onto the road.

"Okay." I sigh before we sit in silence.

"Why did you do it?" He looks at me.

"What?" I'm thrown off guard.

"Why'd you drop acid with him?"

"I don't know, he always made it sound so exciting. That we'd do it together then go on adventures around town." I shrug. "And he insisted that his birthday would be perfect."

"And you were on board the entire time?"

"Oh god no, it took me months before I said yes. Then he said it'd make for a perfect birthday present, but he knew I got concert tickets for that day." I remember how frustrated I was.

"So you gave yours to your sisters friend?"

"Yeah, we were supposed to go together." My voice breaks, but I dismiss it. "God we were so pissed at him 'cause One Direction's our favorite band you know? And it was gonna be our thing. We even joked to him about how I'd ditch his birthday party to go make out with you guys."

"Thanks." Harry laughs a little. "If I were you I wouldn't have put up with that. I mean the band is better than acid." He gloats.

"I want to blame him for everything but it's honestly all on me. Lucy's my responsibility, not Zach's." I get worked up, he places his hand on my thigh, I slide it off uncomfortably. "I'm fine, don't worry. I just need to focus on finding her."

"I understand." He looks away. "That was terrible timing on my part anyway, my bad."

"It's okay." I laugh lightly. "It isn't as bad as you think it is."

"Yeah? That's why this is completely awkward, right?"

"Yeah, that's exactly why Harry." I demand, placing a grin on my face.

"This is cute." Harry looks around intently.

"What? My middle class home amuses you?" I smirk getting out of the car, he follows.

"No! It looks great. That's what I was saying!" He gestures as we walk in, my dog immediately charges at me.

"Hi baby." I laugh. "His name's Riot."

"He's a little puppy doggie, how long have you had him?" Harry picks him up and follows me up the stairs.

"Around two years now, Zach got him for me for our two year anniversary."
