Chapter 2

CHLOE

"Chloe...chloe" where am I? Wait...
"Dad?....Dad!!!" I tried to hug him but I cant even find the chance to touch him. When I tried to hold him my hand just went pass through him directly, it seems like he was a dust?....

"Chloe my dear I have no time to explain everything. The future awaits, your future is coming. Fear, confusion may stop you in doing something but always remeber me and your mom will be by your side no matter what.... I love you Chloe more than my life. You will find out things you expect were impossible to believe but just... believe and everything will go perfectly"
Dad was starting to fade... noo please nooo....

"Dad please nooo!!! Please don't leave me... us.... I love you daddy. I really do" I can feel the my body shaking, someone calling my name....

"Chloe"
"Chloe dear"
"Chloe..."

When I opened my eyes I saw mom with her worried face.
"Chloe are you okay? Did Daddy talked to you dear? You kept on saying 'dont leave me dad' while sleeping it made me really worried"
Dad just talked to me... dad....

"Mom... daddy why? Why of all people why? Why mom? Dad is the kindest most amazing father any child could ask for a parent but why?" I kept on crying on my moms shoulder. I just....justt... it hurts so bad.

"Chloe dear. God has a reason why He need to bring dad early to heaven. Please dear, use your father as your inspiration to do better. To fulfil both of your dreams." I kept on nodding on what mom was saying. I need to make dad proud. Im still he's little girl no matter what happens.

After few hours of crying, sleeping. The doctor finally agreed to bring me home. I dont know if I am really ready to go home and remember dad in every inch of the house. Mom and dad sacrificed everything just to buy a house for their future family... for our family.

After a few papers to be signed. I was waiting for mom to finish. When I saw....Shawn? Shawn seemed to sense that someone was looking at him that made him turn around. He then saw me... I can see the worry face plasterd In his face.

He walked straight to my direction until he was already infornt of me. He looked at my eyes and then hugged me. I was so shocked to move. Shawn? Who are you? What are you doing?.
We were just standing there for like 2min. Until Shawn finally lets go of me. "Hey chloe. I heard the news. Im very sorry. If you want anyone to talk to with, my ears are very ready" he said with a forced smile on his face.

Shawn why are you even doing this? Youre acting like- 'you seem to know me for all long time'. The way youre acting right now isnt a normal way of being friendly to your new found friend. How did he even get here? Does He know my father?

The way Shawn told me that he well be there for me I feel-'safe'?
I dont know what just happend but my body seemed to want Shawn to comfort me. I hugged him tightly putting my head againts his strong, build chest. Tears started to fill my eyes. I was crying in Shawn's comfort and I felt really releaved and thankful for him to be here just by my side.

Shawn was whispering calm words like 'its all gonna be okay' . 'Please be strong chloe'. While rubbing my back. We were standing there for like 2 min. Shawn still comforting me. Until I finally got into my senses and stared into Shawn's eyes it was filled with... worries.

My mom suddenly came out of nowhere "Chloe? There you are. Ive been looking everywhere for you. Ohh... I didnt notice you have a company here. Hi dear im Chloe's mom" mom said in a very formal way. Shawn just smiled and said "Hello maam, im Shawn, chloe's friend and classmate" mom just smiled in return.

"Chloe dear, I want you to go home. Please take a rest. Ill handle everything just take enough sleep okay? ..." i didnt let mom finish what she was saying. I cant leave her especially now. "Mom, I cant let you handle this alone. Were all on this together remember?" Mom just smiled at me and said "Chloe please listen. I do need you now but your safety and health matters to me most. I cant loose you to dear. Your all i have left. Ill go home as soon as I can okay?" Finally mom pushed me on going home. Shawn volunteers to send me home. I feel nervous and worried, I havent experience a boy sending me home before.

What should I do? Should I first start a conversation? Do I walk beside or behind him? Do I let him in the house? ...... urgh!

"Chloe lets go" Shawn said. We went to the elevator and went directly to the 1st floor. We waited for a taxi since were only 16 and im guessing hes 16 or 17? I still do not know him that much. When we finally got one Shawn sitted at the right side while I sat on the left. The whole 'drive to home' thing went really quite. No one dares to break the silence even the driver. When we finally reached home I faced Shawn and told him how thankful I am for his company today. It made me forget about what happened about dad, I still dont know the reason for his death but mom and I are going to talk about it once she gets home from the hospital.

"Bye Chloe, get some rest okay?" Shawn said. "Okay you too" after that I went straight into my room. I didnt even turned on the lights because all I can remeber in every inch of this room is my dad....

I went for a quick wash after that I changed into my comfy shirts and shorts. Went directly to bed and closed my eyes hoping Dad could come and appear again in my dreams.
