The Jump

Kaneki followed the generic agent down a long corridor. At the end, he could see a door clearly marked an exit. Before he approached another of the strange aircrafts, the agent stopped him.

"Wait. Director Fury made these for you. Suit up."

The brusque agent shoved a pile of black cloth into Kaneki's arms and gently guide him to a nearby room. Quickly striping out of his jeans and t-shirt, he pulled on the suit. It appeared to be a tight black suit vaguely similar to the red head's. Shoving his clothes in his backpack, Kaneki resolved to examine his new suit later. Quickly the half-ghoul made his way to the waiting aircraft. Strapping himself in and securing his belongings, Kaneki overheard the pilot introducing herself.

"I am the Black Widow, I will be your pilot. Strap in, and prepare for a rough ride."

Looking to the cockpit, Kaneki notices the same red head in the pilot seat. Turning his head around he saw Steve Rogers seated not too far away. Steve Rogers, or Captain America as he introduced himself earlier, was wearing a protective blue an red suit. A large white star in the center of his chest matched the star on his round shield. Steve had his iconic shield in his lap, sitting uncomfortably. They sat in an awkward silence until Black Widow spoke up, going over the details of the mission.

They were about 5 minutes from their destination when Steve asked Natasha to fly close to the ground. Slightly confused she did as he asked. Kaneki understood what the man wanted to do as soon as he lowered the ramp midair. Not wanting to miss out on anything, Kaneki stood up as well. Steve backed up a few steps and charged the open ramp with Kaneki right behind him. Kaneki vaguely heard Natasha cursing and yelling at them from the cockpit as they dove into the empty air.
