After brad had kissed me we kinda just were awkward around each other. I mean no I didn't expect it, but it was still an amazing kiss. I just can't see myself falling in love in the middle of an apocalypse it just doesn't seem normal. Then again what In this world is normal anymore. We didn't tell anyone about our kiss and nobody noticed how awkward we were around each other except maybe Adam he always looks between us weird. It's like he knows something went on. I just don't want to tell people and it be a big fuss. I just got to this group I don't want to mess anything up. That night we had all just got finished eating and me and Cassie were washing dishes. "So, is there something going on with you an brad?" I freeze when she says that. "Um I don't know, why?" She laughs and looks at me,"Just wondering because he keeps looking at you like your an angel sent from above." I turn and catch brad before he looks immediately away. I could tell my cheeks are red because they were really hot. "It's okay if y'all like each other, there's no rule against it. Besides if I had a good looking guy like him staring at me I'd have done been over there talking to him." I let out a sign and then start laughing. Cassie can't help but laugh too. "We'll I mean I sort of like him I don't really know him all that well yet, but he did kiss me when we were out looking for the food and stuff." Cassie looks shocked and yells,"What!?" I look at Cassie and say,"Shhhh your gonna attract walkers or worse brad's attention!" I know I said it was worse but really it wasn't. I'm just not good with the whole guys liking me thing. Cassie and I finish washing the dishes and she heads to her cabin. "Oh and by the way you may want to talk to that sexy man over there." Oh my gosh I can't believe she said that at loud to everyone. I see brad smile and even his teeth are showing. I'm blushing like an idiot and I don't know whether to hide or just find a walker to eat me. Okay wait that wasn't funny. Anyway I finally get the guts to walk over to brad. "Um hey Brad, sorry about Cassie." He laughs and looks at me,"Amber it's fine, I mean hey I am sexy right?" Wow this boy is full of hisself. "Wow your so cocky ain't you?" He smiles again real big,"You know it." I couldn't help but laugh. This boy is something else, and I have my work cut out for me.
