Nandos? (a niall horan fanfic)

chapter 9

A/N I might be jumping povs a lot so if it gets confusing I am sorry but I want you to see what is happening from all perspectives

Julia’s pov

As we pulled up to earls I started to get nervous, we were really young when we were friends. Maybe he won’t like me now? How can vague memories of a past that doesn’t exist anymore tell him who I am. The first time I saw him audition I knew that he would be the best he could be, throughout the xfactor I watched in excitement and sadness trough out all his hard ships. When the boys got put into a band every one fell in love with them, they were all great. I watched every single video diary. When they came in third I was crushed, but then they rose all the way to the top. And the world fell in love with them. My 6 year old friend was now on all the walls of every girl on the planet. They touched so many as I sat back and watched. When I saw him in wandos, or landos, I don’t care. I thought how I could be this lucky to be brought to him even though we knew each other for a very short time, when I told him I had no idea if he would laugh in my face or not even try to get to know me, but he welcomed me back into open arms. Hopefully those arms are still open by the end of the night.

I don’t know how long I sat there before Niall finally spoke up “Juliaa” he said in a sin song voice, and boy does that sound good coming off his tongue. “ha sorry I was caught up thinking” I said with a little smile, I got to get good at talking to people in a nice manner, Jaxon is different we are always bickering, and Jared we fought all the time, speaking of Jared I feel sick. But I am not going to let that ruin my night. I don’t have any friends so those were the only to people I talked to, now I hopefully get to add one more person to that list.

Nialls pov

I wonder what she was thinking about she sat there for a good 2 minutes before I had to snap her out of her trance, for we do not want to miss our reservation. I won’t pester her about it but I do want to know, maybe before the night is over……

Jaxons pov

Before niall and my sister left niall told me to phone a number on this card and ask if he needs any thing and if it was ready. Hopefully it isn’t a drug dealer or something, on first glance I might look like that type of person, but I can assure you %1000 I am not. People say my look doesn’t suit my personality but I could really care less.  Niall told me to phone before 8:30. It is 8:25 it is still before so he can’t get mad. Guess I should call..

Callers pov

It is 8:24 and that girl still hasn’t called. Niall just should have instead of this this kid! But he said I could trust her and that she would call, so if she doesn’t I’ll have to talk to him. Just as I was about to call him my phone started ringing. Its about time..

Julia’s pov

As our waitress came up to take our order she couldn’t take her eyes of her, I mean I don’t blame her he is good looking and in a world famous boy band. But it kind of irks me. Oh well he can date whoever he wants and I’ll be the good friend and support him. I ordered a stake and baked potato meal with a fruit juice thing to drink, none alcoholic might I add. Niall ordered baked ravioli, with meat balls as an extra. With fancy French fry things for the side and he got a coke to drink. After we ordered niall started a conversation, “so julia how old are you, I think I should now but I forgot sorry.” I had to laugh at his sweetness.

Nialls pov

Her laugh is a laugh you could laugh at/with. “don’t worry about it we haven’t spoken in like 14 years, wow 14..” she trailed off her sentence as she got lost in thought, I wish I could tell what was going on in that head of hers. “sorry I lost my train of thought. I am 20 turning 21 in a couple days actually.” Her face lit up at the thought of being 21 I don’t see the big hype to be honest ( A/N if you forgot I changed all there ages, check back to the chapter ages for the ages if you forgot ) “I actually knew when your birthday was I just didn’t know how old you were turning.” I explain my self, jaxon actually told me that this morning so I decided to put something together, I wonder if jaxon contacted him yet…

Julia’s pov

The rest of the diner was catching up. I told him about when I moved away from my parents to Ireland, and how two years later jaxon begged me to let her live with me because she just had to get out of that house. I mean there is a five year difference between her and my brother. Then we discussed my brother taxon, my grandfather on both sides name is Jackson so they just stuck with that name theme after me, jaxon absolutely despised it but deep down I know she love it. All the time I was rambling niall just ate and listened with true interest.  I also told him how I had been keeping up with him since the xfactor days and even went to a concert. He seemed kind of surprised but pleased. “ haha then I don’t have to tell you all that happened to me.” His laugh is one of the best I heard. “I only know what the press and tv producers realest” I reminded him. So for a good part of an hour he told me all about the different experiences his favorite was performing at MSG. when I got full niall ate the rest. He most have hollow legs. After we were finished my stomach started to ache and he noticed so he said “I think its time we brought you home jaxon might have my hide if we stay out any later” I just smiled and nodded.

Nialls pov

When we drove up into her drive way she turned to me and said “I had a really great time catching up and getting to now the new you thanks” she said with a smile, the whole evening I had to remind my self that it wasn’t a date and she just broke up with her boyfriend, yet she didn’t show any feelings about it. “good night niall I am going to hit the sack” she told me as she stepped out of my car. When she left it felt a bit colder…
