One Shot for Eve

My name is Eve River. I'm 14 and in my 5th year at Hogwarts. I'm a muggle-born and in Hufflepuff. Right now we were at a DA meeting. I had succeeded in the Patronus charm. When we were all leaving the Room of Requirements I hung back. I saw Harry was also hanging back. I took a deep breath 

"Are you ok" 

He turned and saw me. He gave me a slight grin. 

"Yeah, I'm ok Eve"

"We will win against Umbridge. She won't be here forever"

"I know" 

I gave him a hug. It seemed like he needed one because he put his arms around me and hugged me. I grinned against his shoulder. 

"Thank you Eve"

"For what" 

"Being here" 

"You're welcome" 

I started to head back to my common room but he got my wrist. I looked at him. He gently kissed me. I was shocked but happy. When he pulled away we grinned at each other. 

I knew this was the start of a wonderful relationship.
