Lapis was sitting on the beach, admiring the ocean she once was under. She heard soft footsteps from behind, and turned around to see a small Peridot.
"Mmm.. Lapis.." She awkwardly greeted, folding her arms behind her back. Lapis just starred at her, not saying a word. 'She hasn't talked to me for awhile.. I know I left her to stay under water but she has to forget that at some point, right?' Peridot thought, and sat beside her.
"Lapis, please forgive me. I didn't know you were fused with that orange doof!" Peridot pleaded, and Lapis crossed her arms. "..Okay fine, it makes sense.. But, you could have asked the gems where we were.." "Yea I know.. But I'm so sorry, and how can I make it up to you?"
There was an awkward silence, but then she broke it. "You can feel how I felt." "Wait, what?! Like fuse together?!" "Better than that, my dear dorito." Lapis smirked, standing up and picking up the confused child.
