Overrated

Chapter 2

When I walked into school, the first person I saw was Oliver. I smiled as he pushed himself off of the wall and walked over to me.

"Hey" I smiled, a blush rising on my cheeks.

"Hi"

"You excited for summer break?" I nodded as we began walking down the corridor.

"Definitely, especially Warped, but my parents are going away so I have to spend the rest of it at Katelyn's" he nodded before smiling as we reached my locker.

"How about you come over to mine sometime? My mum cooks a mean Sunday lunch" I chuckled, nodding as I gripped my book to my chest. He smiled as the bell rang.

"Well I better get going, I'll see you later?" I nodded as he smiled, leaning in and kissing my cheek again, letting his lips linger a little longer this time.

"Bye Kells" I smiled at the nickname as he walked away, staring at his back. I jumped out of my skin when I turned round and saw Katelyn. I shoved her lightly as she laughed.

"Don't do that to me" she just continued laughing as I unlocked my locker, switching out my books and grabbing my gym kit.

"You guys are so cute, I can already hear wedding bells" I blushed as I locked my locker and we began walking.

"Hey, calm down, we haven't even been on a date yet" she rolled her eyes before smiling.

"Does Warped count as a date?" I shrugged as she went to her math class and I went to gym.

We were doing fitness today in gym, although it was mainly just people sitting around since it was the last day. I sat on a bench in the sidelines with Justin and Gabe.

"Dude, I'm so totally hooking up with Emily, her family's having this pool party and she's invited me" he smirked as Justin laughed and I rolled my eyes.

"Oh shut up Kells, your going Warped with Oli, your so going to get laid" I blushed and hid my face in my hands.

"Not actually, you see I only stretch to kissing on the first date" I looked round to see Oli, smirking at me.

I blushed again as he sat, wrapping his arm loosely around my waist. He kissed my cheek lightly before turning to Gabe and Justin.

"Is it cool if I sit with you guys?" They nodded as they included Oli in the hook ups talk, Oli telling them some more they didn't know. I smiled and leaned my head on Oli's shoulder, laughing occasionally at the jokes they would make.

I could get used to this, to Oli being around me a lot and him hanging out with my friends. He has a heart of gold and is just so sweet, and he's crazy talented. He can sing well, I've even heard he screams a bit, although I've never heard, but I've heard him sing and it's beautiful.

Although, I have never spoken to him myself, I've only heard what other people say about him. But I'm sure he's great. Once class was over and we had all got changed back, Oli came up to me in the changing rooms. I smiled as he placed his hands on my hips.

"Hello beautiful" I blushed as he just smiled, kissing my cheek again. We started walked to class together, as we have next period together. He took my hand in his as soon as we left the changing rooms, making me smile. As we walked passed his friends they wolf whistled and cheered, making Oli laugh as we kept walking.

"Ignore them, they think I'm using you for a quick hook up, which I'm not by the way, I really like you" I smiled, my cheeks turning red.

"I really like you too" he smirked as he squeezed my hand.

"Oh I know, I've heard all about that little crush of yours" I blushed again, making him chuckle.

"Your so cute!"

At lunch, Oli kept glancing at me from his table, making me blush each time I caught his eye. I turned back to the guys as everyone was talking about what they were going to do as soon as they got out.

"What about you Kells? Gunna make out with Oli?" I blushed and shook my head.

"I'll probably pack for Warped and Katelyn's house" I blushed as I turned to her.

"Oli's actually invited me round during break, do you mind if I go?-" she smiled.

"Kells, I'm not going to stop you hanging out with other people, if anything I'll be glad to get rid of you" she winked, making me laugh. Katelyn really is my best friend. In last period, hardly any work was done and when the bell rung, everyone screamed and cheered and ran out of class and onto busses. Oli walked up to me, a huge grin on his face.

"I have to go now, but I'll see you Monday for our date" I smiled, it quickly turning into a grin as he placed his lips on mine. I was expecting butterflies, but I got nothing I held his shoulder lightly and placed my other hand on his cheek, kissing him back and trying to get the butterflies to emerge. He wrapped his arms around my waist before pulling back, just smiling at me.

"I'll see you Monday, yeah?" I nodded before he pecked my lips quickly

"Hairbrush?" I nodded

"Yeah" I was currently packing, talking to Katelyn on Skype.

"Have you got your favourite Pierce shirt?" I rummaged through my bag before I found it, nodding.

"And the hoodie" she smiled.

"I think your all set then" I grinned, zipping up my suit case and putting it next to my wall.

"Oh! Wait!" I looked up at the screen, seeing her smirk.

"What outfit have you packed for hanging out with Oli?" I blushed, looking down at my hands.

"Just my normal clothes" she rolled her eyes.

"Really Kells?" I blushed harder.

"What am I meant to wear? It's only Warped" she groaned.

"Fine but at lest bring a dress shirt, in case he takes you out to dinner" I smiled, walking to my warbrobe.

"Green, red, dark blue or light blue?" She thought for a second.

"Red" I nodded.

"Oh! And green, just in case" I chuckled before putting them in my suitcase. I was really excited now.
