Chapter3.
After Booker getting the grabber un-jammed and air striking someone you three was at the elevator "Are you okay?" You asked Booker and he nodded "Yeah. I think so." You sighed in relief at his words. You wanted to hug your partner but you held back. Elizabeth stared at you two with a smirk. You looked away hesitating and pressed the button. The elevator doors opened and you three walked inside before Bpoker smashed the button "Why do you do that?" You asked "I..I don't know..." He answered honestly then Elizabeth asked "When did you two come to Rapture?" You both looked to her "Oh it was..jeez..I guess around 51' No..48?" She crossed her arms "That's a rather large gap." She pointed out and he glared "Time..Life I had before..sort of becomes a blur. 49' for sure." Then you spoke up "I came here a year after he was here." Then Booker reached for his nose and pulled away and blood covered his fingers "B-Booker?" You asked as you grab his arm "Damn." He says and Elizabeth cuts in "You look a mess mister DeWitt." He only glared and said, "Just keep your eyes open for splicers. They can do this a whole lot worse." He grabbed his gun and you let your hand fall from his arm. You pulled out your gun and knelt down like Elizabeth so the spliced couldn't see you. "Eat it up! It's good for you!" A female splicer said as she tossed something to the ground you made a face and hid "I've got this." You say as you aim your gun and fired. Headshot. You grinned and knelt down "Well that went lovely." You joke as splicers began to attack "(Name)! I have ammo! Catch!" You reached out and she tossed it to you.
You reloaded your gun and aimed "I have salts!" Elizabeth yells and Booker caught the salts "Thanks!" He says as he opened the cap and drunk the liquid. You two fired until there was no more splicers. You and Elizabeth walked to a sign "Booker look." You say pointing to the board "Says its on the top floor." Elizabeth finished as she spun on her heel "Then we go up." Booker stated and you two followed him. You saw a dead girl on the floor and a bag which had a pearled necklace in it. You reached down and grabbed it "(Name). That's disrespectful." Booker jokes and you roll your eyes "Says the one who does the same." Elizabeth chuckled "She's right. Besides, she's dead." Elizabeth takes your side and your wrap your arm around her shoulder "See? Even she agrees!" You say with a smirk. Booker shook his head and turned away causing you to let go of Elizabeth and follow behind her.
You then saw something shine so you picked it up "Huh. A lock pick." You say and Elizabeth looked to you "Maybe that'll unlock that door." She says and you nodded. She took it from you and began to run back. You looked to Booker who was staring off with his mouth half way open.
You laughed and pulled his jaw up with your hand "You'll be catching flies soon Booker." You say and he grabbed your wrist before you could let it fall. This caused your face to glow red "What do you think she's got planned?" He asked and you cocked your head to the side "Elizabeth?" You asked and he nodded "I don't know. But she definitely seems to know more than others..whatever it is it isn't good.." You say looking away "You're right. I feel like she's setting is up. If anything happens to me (Name).." He paused and you looked back to him. Eyes locking in a daze until a voice cut in "You two love birds coming or are you two just gonna chirp all day?" You jerked your hand away and turned around to see Elizabeth with her arms crossed. You swallow hard and scratch your cheek gently "Erm..we're coming." You mutter as you rush to her side. You all was at the door and she unlocked it "Where'd you learn that?" Booker asked amazed slightly "Its something I picked up a long time ago.." She says and you smile "I wish I knew how to pick lock." You say and she laughed a little "Nothing special." She says and you roll your eyes. You three walked in and saw ice.
"Huh. Our frozen friend leaves a hell of a trail." Booker stated flatly as he walked to the doors. After fighting splicers you three found your way on to a door with a lock on it "Anymore lock picks (Name)?" Booker asked "I'm looking.." You say as you search the dead corpses. You raise up and shake your head "Notta." He cussed under his breath. "Let's have a look around." Elizabeth suggested and you nodded. Soon you found your way to a air grabber which was up in the sky. You looke to Booker "Hold on." He got back and then ran forward; in the process he grabbed you and you almost screamed! You slipped from his grasp once he was in the air but caught his hand. You held on for life as you looked down to see your body dangling over an end. You swallowed and threw your other hand up to grab and hold his tighter. You looked up at him "Booker I swear to god if you-" splicer voices cut in and he shushed you "Look.." He says and you looked to see splicers fighting.
You held on tightly until all the fighting calmed down. Then Booker swings you and you land on the ground like a boss. He goes back and gets Elizabeth and began to swing her back and forth before she finally let go but when she landed she almost slipped but you grabbe her hand and pulled her forward. You flashed a smile and then Booker landed "Their still there so let me handle this one." You nodded and stayed back with Elizabeth. You two heard gun shots until it went dead silent. You grabbed Elizabeth's hand and ran until you two met up with Booker "Oh thank god your alright." You say as you hug him. He pulled you away and chuckled "You know it'll take more then a couple of splicers to knock me down.." You laughed for a moment until you all made your way to the door. "What's happened to these people? They don't even seem sane." Elizabeth seemed to have pain in her voice "Well that's what your first splice does.. You lose everything." You whisper to her and Booker said, "Nothing beats your first splice.. From there it's all downhill." You shook your head as he continued. You didn't listen. Your head started to hurt and you grabbed it as you swayed a little.
She's not yours..Comstock.
You shook your head and Booker's voice cut in "(Name)!" He caught you as you almost fell. You slowly stood upright "Whats going on with her..?" Elizabeth asked as she stepped into your view. "Damn Cohen. There's no telling what he did to her when we was shocked." You shook your head when Booker said that "My body is just weak from all the shock I took in. That's all.." You stated calmly then Booker said, "We gotta get you outta here fast. We find Sally and leave." You stood up right and held up your gun "Let's just get Sally." You say in a whisper as you walk past Booker and Elizabeth. You saw a sky line "Damn." You cuss and then Elizabeth chimbed in "Hey look what I found." He says holding up the skyhook "Nice." You say as you walked to her "Me and Elizabeth can share while you lead the way Booker." You say as you put on the sky hook "Rightt.." He says as he rolled his eyes "What?" You smile.
