"Hey, I'm gonna go grab a bite to eat at Chubbies." Topanga told Cory, as she lifted her head from his shoulder.
"I'll meet you at the house." Topanga got up from the bench where she and Cory had been sitting. Her 3 inch wedges made a faint click clack noise as she bounced away. Cory watched her figure leaving the park until she was out of view, then he got up and started toward his house, which was a short 10 minute walk away. It had been a half hour since Topanga had gotten the text from Cory's mother saying to be at the house in an hour. Topanga had left, and he had nothing to do for the next 30 minutes. All the way home he spent the time dreaming up crazy things that his little sister might want to tell them all.
He reached the front door of his childhood home and unlocked it, stepping inside and instinctively heading for the door that lead to the kitchen to get a snack.

Topanga pushed open the door to Chubbies, the restaurant of her and Cory's and all their friends' childhoods. She click clacked her way down the short staircase and walked up to the front counter to order. She ordered a large fries, and went to sit down at a table when she saw something unusual.
Over in a booth near the back, sitting close together, was Shawn and Morgan. Morgan had tears streaking her face and she was taking to Shawn, almost yelling at him, as if he'd done something to her. He had his arm around her shoulders and was trying to calm her down, which, evidently wasn't working very well. Shawn finally got her to stop ranting for a short moment and said something to her. Topanga was too far away to hear, but whatever he said brought on a fresh batch of tears, some of which left streaks of black on her cheeks from the mascara she was wearing. Morgan lifted her wrist and said something and slid out of her seat. She stood up, inhaled deeply, and closed her eyes for a second. Topanga's eyes widened and she fought the urge to gasp and run over when Shawn kissed Morgan. It was just a small peck on the cheek, seemingly to make her feel better. But what surprised Topanga the most was that she let him. Morgan slid her hand into Shawn's, and they walked out of Chubbies, just as a waiter delivered Topanga's fries.
