Arias POV

It was a rainy day. I sat there playing with my dolls, as my older brother watched T.V. Mom and dad had gone out to the club with some friends. It was almost my bed time but since my parents aren't home I think I can stay up just a little bit longer.

I put down my dolls and sat on the couch next to my brother. We had a pretty good relationship. We would always play together and sometimes when his girlfriend was over she would do my hair.

"You should probably go to bed." Hunter said looking down at me.

"But mom and dad aren't home, can I stay up a little bit longer." I asked with a pout on my face

" okay but only half an hour than you have to go to bed."

" thank you!"

We watched tv for that half hour and then i gave my brother a hug and went to bed.

-Time skip-

I was woken up by my brother with a worried look on his face.

"Get your shoes on we have to go." He said quietly

" what's wrong?"

"I don't know, just get on your shoes and let's go."

I slipped out of bed grabbed my jacket and put on my shoes. We walked outside to the car.

"What's going on? Where are we going?" I asked worriedly

"I don't know but we have to follow the police."

"What? Why?"

"Because."

The car was silent as we followed the police in the direction of the hospital.

"Are mom and dad okay?"

"I don't know."

We pulled up to the hospital and followed the police to where our parents were.

We walked into the room where are parents laid lifeless in the hospital beds. I was so scared, that they were dead. I thought as one of the doctors walked in.

They pulled my brother aside, as to say you can't hear this, but I could still hear what they were saying.

"Both your parents are dead, they were killed in a head on collision by a drunk driver, I'm very sorry for your loss."

Hunter didn't say anything he just stood there shocked. I started to cry as I walked up to the hospital bed where my mom was laying. Why? How could this happen? I thought as tears flowed down my face. I could still hear what the doctor was saying.

"Would your parents have considered being organ donors?"

"Yes they loved helping people"

"They are still alive, I can see them breathing." I sobbed

"The machine is breathing for them without that machine they will die."

I sobbed over the body of my dead mother. All I could think about was who's going to take care of us where are we going to go.

-time skip-

I said my final goodbyes to my parents as they wheeled both of them away.

I hugged my brother and sobbed, why would this happen.

"Can we go home." I sobbed

"Yeah let's go home." Hunter chocked out.

I could tell he was being strong for me. He was holding back his tears for me. We drove home in silence all that could be heard were a few sobs.

-end of nightmare

Orion's POV

I was woken up by the thrashing and turning of Aria next to me. She was having a nightmare. Tears streamed down her face. I took her in my arms and combed my fingers through her hair until she jerked up and her eyes flipped open.

"What's wrong?"

"Nightmare."she replied quietly.

I pulled her back to my embrace and she curled up and buried her head into my chest. You could hear her light sobs as she cried.

" it's okay I'm here." I whispered quietly.

"Do you want to tell me what happened."

"I-it was the n-night my parents d-died." She choked out.

It was painful for her to talk about. I could understand that. I held her until her sobs became light snores. I tucked her back into bed and I watched as she slept peacefully. Knowing that she was peaceful helped me fall asleep.
