I looked out of the window of my office. Across my office is the office of my boss. And I saw him staring at a picture frame and licking his lips. When I saw the picture in the picture frame my eyes widened. It’s Dean!

Suddenly the door opened. “We have a new case in Ohio!” Dean said walking into my office with a smile on his face. He didn’t seem to love our job that much but he did smile every time we got a new case. I actually don’t know why but Dean is weird like that. That’s why I like him so much he’s unpredictable, Dean is probably the only guy friend I have. My only best friend if you don’t count Jenna, my brother’s fiancée.

“Ohio!?” I said when I quickly turned around. I felt busted for staring at my, well our, boss. But what he did… I mean I just found out my boss is probably gay and he likes my best friend!

“What’s wrong you look shocked?” he asked me with a worried look and a worried tone in his voice.

“It’s just Ohio, what could happen in Ohio to have the FBI come down there?” I said quickly calming down. Well I was trying to, but I don’t think it worked because forcing you to relax causes a lot of different expressions like I’m not telling the truth. Or what’s actually going on. “I mean little things happen in Ohio not that big for the FBI to see,” I tried to safe myself. “Why can’t the local police handle it?”

“Why are you acting like this?” he asked confused. “Wait… what did you see?” he said looking out of the window curiously. “Do you mean the hot new chick in the red dress walking around?” he said with a smile watching her pass by my office.

“No!” I said hitting him on the shoulder and I couldn’t help but let out a small laugh as he did too. “I didn’t see anything, what are you talking about?” I lied, trying to convince him.

“Ally Moore, you’re lying, I’ve known you long enough to know you are!” he said accusing me of being a liar. You’d expect of an FBI agent to be a master at lying, who I am but not with Dean, he knows me too well.

“Okay Dean if you really want to know I’ll tell you! But you won’t like it. I’m just warning you, you don’t want to know what I saw,”

“Tell me! I can handle it I’m Dean Johnson, I’m awesome,” he said with his arrogant smile which I hated but it was a pretty great smile so I just laughed at him.

“Wow, thank you for the information mister unprofessional. But I’ll tell you. I think our boss is gay…” I said while Dean of course, interrupted me.

“Well that’s not so bad,” he interrupted me.

“And he likes you,” I added.

“Well that can happen… I guess, but you don’t have any proof!” he said crossing his arms over his chest and raising his eyebrows. All though I could see how uncomfortable this news made him.

“He has a picture frame of you and licked his lips while looking at it,” I said trying not to laugh because this made him swallow hard, that’s how uncomfortable he got.

“Well who wouldn’t like this,” he said though there was a little sarcasm in his voice.

“I wouldn’t,” I said with a grin, teasing him. And I started to walk out of the office to get our tickets for the airplane.

“Oh you know you would,” he said following me out of my office.
