It was finally time.
You were finally going to leave your home in America and move to Korea to stay with your boyfriend, Choi Seunghyun, or as he was more commonly known, T.O.P.
The idea to move had initially been suggested by Seunghyun, and although you had to stay in America for a little while longer to prepare everything you had to for leaving, you still couldn't fully believe the move to Korea was actually happening.
During the plane ride, your mind couldn't help but be plagued with worry.
'What if I get lost? What if I can't find Seunghyun at the airport? What if I can't talk to people?'
It was nerve racking to be thinking of all these problems, and the one that worried you the most was not being able to communicate properly. Your Korean wasn't bad, but there was still plenty that you didn't know.
You tried to banish all doubt from your mind but you were still a bit anxious when the plane finally landed.
Navigating through the crowd of people was difficult, but you had finally acquired your bags, breathing a sigh of relief that everything was intact and exactly the way you had left it. The next step was finding Seunghyun.
"He did say he'd be around here somewhere.." you said to yourself, your eyes scanning the large room.
Feeling a tap on your shoulder, you turned to see Seunghyun standing behind you, a small smile on his face.
Seeing him made you instantly relax, a bright smile now on your face.
"Seunghyun!" You greeted happily, hugging him briefly. "I was so worried I wouldn't find you!"
He returned the hug, a brief chuckle escaping him.
"I wish you wouldn't worry so much." Seunghyun said while taking one of your bags and leading you out of the airport. "I did promise after all."
That was true. Before you had left America he had promised you that he would find you no matter what, and you'd be safe. You should've known.
Seunghyun wasn't one to break promises.
Exiting the airport, you two got into a car and drove to where Seunghyun, and now you, would be living. He pointed out various architecture and scenery during the ride, loving your enthusiastic responses to seeing everything.
"Korea really is a beautiful place." You said, and Seunghyun silently agreed with a nod.
After arriving and setting your things down, you looked around, feeling happier than ever.
"It seems so fast paced here." you said, remembering the traffic and all the people you'd seen. "I don't think I'll ever get used to it.."
Arms wound around your waist as you were pulled into a Seunghyun's comforting embrace.
"I'll help you." He said softly, pressing a light kiss to your forehead. " I'm just glad you're here with me."
To a lot of people, Seunghyun seemed cold and scary. To you, he was the sweetest person you had ever met.
"Thank you.." you replied, and he smiled.
"Come on, let's unpack your stuff."
Now you could finally start a new life.
