Tears are Fluids that constantly flow over the eyeball to lubricate and protect it. The continuous flow of this fluid removes dust,particles,bacteria, air pollutant, debris , and other foreign bodies from the eyes. Because tears contain lysozyme, an enzyme that destroys certain organisms, they also help keep the eye free of infection.
