This second chance enlightened me,so I started to roam in the village and ask if someone needed help. Of course people were scared of me,I heard "Oh god run it's him!" I tried to calm them but they were just to afraid to listen to me. I later decided to go and search for a place that I could at least speak.
I just grabbed a broadsword and started my journey. It was a tedious task but I found a village finally. I tried it and it was great that people haven't heard much of me or what I had previously done. What I presume to be the founder of the city walked toward me and said "Hello weary traveler, come rest let's talk about your long travel. While walking in an alley I saw an older woman point one ragged finger at me and said "You!" I was confused for I hadn't seen her before.
The mayor noticed me slowing my pace and said "Hey I banished you,you old hag . Get out of my village Farica, your kind aren't allowed you witch." "Farica" I thought to myself. "Not a witch Sam a warlock, I'm a warlock." Said the witch. "I don't care what you are,get out of my town!"said Sam "Don't remove me before you do what you promised me 5000 years ago" 5000 years what is wrong with this town!
"I didn't promise you anything liar" "yes you did you took my familiar and said you were to get me a new one." "Let's go" said Sam. When appearing in front of the executive building we went inside and I saw a creature of interest. It had four legs, pointed ears and hair all over it . "Dophler come." The creature transformed to a flying creature they call birds. "Is that the familiar Farica was speaking of?" "I hope not." He said humorously. I wasn't that amused, I was more worried about Farica to be honest. "Don't worry about her she's not important to us." I was worried that she was a force to be reckoned with and I was her target.
I decided to shove it off and not pay attention to her but she was still in my mind."So Sam how does that familiar work". "It takes whatever shape it wants or is commanded to" said Sam. "Interesting" I replied to his answer. "So it can transform into any creature whatsoever". "That is correct" he said. "Then what was that creature earlier",I asked? "Oh that,that was just a cat". "Such an interesting creature". "Yeah it keeps him calm"said Sam.
"This town is weird". I thought to myself. I decided that I would leave at the first time possible. In the morning while escaping I saw a dragon turn into a little cat. "Just the familiar" I said. So I got my broadsword and a horse and started to make my leave. Then the cat noticed me, he turned into the dragon and shot a pillar of flame at me. "Woah" I said barley dodging the blow that would've killed me. I fell off my horse and blacked out.
I was dreary when I awoke but my vision came. "Ah how nice of you to turn up" said Sam. I realized i was in chains later. I tried to wrestle free of the shackles but no luck. Sam then says "Don't even try to escape". Then he presses the blade of a sharp knife to my throat screaming "What did you tell her"! "Who are you talking about"! I scream back. "Farica obviously"! "Ok ok no need to yell idiot". "What did you say" he says placing the knife even closer to my throat. I then kick him right in his mouth causing him to drop the knife he was holding. "Why you little...".
He was about to stab me with knife but Farica burst the door open and hit him with a bolt of some sort. She said "Come with me" she then cut the chains and we ran away with Sam shooting rusty ol' bullets out of an old db shotgun. Then the familiar came as a bird and landed on Farica's arm as we were running. "How did you knock out Sam" I asked. With which she responded "Shut up we gotta go". I would've never guessed her to be that slick with words. The familiar turned to the dragon form and Farica then gestured for me to get on.
