"Shall we start this relationship then, Jun?" Fujioka-san said while reaching out his hands to me.

My heart began palpitating and this was the first time I was out of breath, in a long time. I look down at the hand, reaching out to me. Though tempted to touch and feel his warmth... or someone else's warmth again, fear crept into my being. And instantly, I slapped his hand away.

And I regretted doing that instantly. The look on his face was a mixture of disappointment and pride. He looked at me as if he knew I was about to that. "Ahh, I-... I apologise sincerely, Fujioka-san. I didn't mean to... "

"Ha-ha." He laughed amusingly. "I know you didn't." To my surprise, he grabbed my hand firmly and smiled. "See? No harm done right?" He said calmly.

No harm? NO HARM?! Are you kidding me?!?!? My heart is beating like crazy you imbecile! So I tried and struggled my hand from his grip but he wouldn't budge. "Fuijoka-san... let go please." I try to say calmly, but my pulse is rising and tears start to well up in my eyes. He smirked and just tightened his grip. "Not until you call me by my name, Jun. Come on, say it. It's just three letters with one syllable. It shouldn't be hard right?"

What does he want from me?! Every wall I try so hard to build, he destroys recklessly. It seems like he saw through me - inside and out. And I'm scared of that. I'm scared of this man. I'm scared of Fuijoka Kairi. I thought as I looked at him in the eye, with his smug look and handsome face. I opened my mouth, and in one breath, I said his name. "Kai." The instance I said it, there was instant regret. And in the intense moment, he smiled - happily and in relief.

This man... he scares me to death.

He gently let go of the tight grip he had on me, but the warmth he gave off stayed on the palm of hands, which filled the whole of my body with this tingly sensation. I breathed deeply to relax myself and get rid of this unfamiliar feeling, but it had no effect so far.

"Fujioka-san." He looked at me. "Who are you talking to, Jun?" he asked with a smirk on his face. I replied and rolled my eyes. "Kai... I know it's the first day and all... ugh!" I walked up to him angrily and pulled the collar of his shirt. "We're going out! We're not staying at this hell hole. Gosh you're annoying!"

His eyes widened in surprise. "Pu..." and silence filled the room. "Pwahahahaha!!!" He started laughing and just laughing so hard that he started curling up, crossing his arms against his stomach, which made me release his collar. "W-what the hell?! Ahaha! Jun... has anyone told you that you're one hell of an interesting person? Good god, you're hilarious!"

"WHA-What?! I was being honest you... ugh, poohead!"

"P-poohead? What are you, a child?... Aha-ha... Exactly, you were being honest. For the first time with me." He finally stopped laughing and leaned against the table behind him. "So... where are we going?"

"You should be thankful. That's one of the best insults I could give out. We're going out, I told you. We're not staying here."

"Eh? Why not? And exactly where?"

"Do you realise you booked my schedule full? You booked it everyday for the next three weeks. Who in their right mind does that?... I'm sending you to rehab."

"Are you fucking kidding me?!" He bellowed angrily.

I looked at him seriously. "Yes, I am... kidding." I laughed.

Kai's frown relaxed as he watched me laughed to myself. "You know," he said "you're cute when you laugh. You should do that more often." I replied curiously "But I do smile." He crossed his arms and closed his eyes. "Not your business smile Jun."
