[DISCONTINUED] Fall Back

Verse 1

Walking through these hallways, Monday through Friday for three years, already made me memorize its curves. Thus walking without looking at where I'm going is a common occurrence for me. I rummage through the file the director gave me and it states:

       Name: Kairi 'KAI' Fujioka      |       Age: 24        |       Sex: M

      Occupation: Model, Guitarist/Vocalist     |     Affiliations: STARZ / Sowny Music Industry JP

Remembering the fact that he works for the entertainment industry makes me want to endure this annoying 'mission' for the sake of long-awaited promotion and salary raise. Celebrities are just... annoying and phony and they act all goody-too-shes in front of the camera. But when the camera is out of sight, demons appear.

These "hell"ways were always so dull, looking at depressed clients walking by. Bowing to you and having these bittersweet smile, as if their souls had been sucked of their body. However, today was not one of those days. For some reason, at the corner of my eye, I caught a very dazzling sight. A presence worth actually looking up at. So I raised my head and eyes that were buried in the piece of file I just had been reading.

This person... literally lit up the room. Tall, fit, blond hair, fair and supple skin; all contrasted by the loose black cardigan, black skinny jeans and maroon Doc Marts. He had piercings on both of his ears, that seemed to compliment more of his stoic and manly features.

And in a moment, I caught myself staring... no, mesmerised by this person. 

But it was also in that moment that I had realise to re-assess myself. 

I breathed deeply, closed my eyes and told myself "You're not worthy of being attracted or falling in love with... ANYONE. Because you know what you're capable of doing... for the sake of attraction, infatuation, lust or love." I exhaled, opened my eyes and smiled. Let's seal all those feeling in my Pandora box.

It must be because it has been a while since I saw such a beautiful person. (Aoi is also pleasant-looking. That idiotic brother of mine actually has some good points.)

Now that I noticed, this person seemed to be standing in front of my office. So I approached him and implored "Hi there. Can I help you with anything?" I put on my usual business smile. However, his reaction wasn't the reaction I was hoping for - an actual response. Instead, he just stared at me for about 10 seconds, gritted his teeth then frowned.

So I did what most pleasant people would do. Smile and say "Well, if you need any help, please ask anyone of us. We'd be happy to help." I reached for the office's door handle and pushed the door open. 

Then he held the door open. I looked back and smiled again ('cause in this business, you have to have a "business" smile, even if your eyes look dead inside.) "Thanks." I muttered. He lowered his head and had this strong desire to speak, but he was trying so hard not to. "I..." he mumbled. "I'm here for Busujima-san. Do you know where I can find him?..." He declared in a low, insecure voice.

I chuckled. This guy's nuts. He's been standing in front of my office, with my name plate on infront of the door, and I just entered the room...

Ahhh... I get it. He must think I'm a client as well. I dissolved into laughter. He suddenly panicked "Did I say something wrong? Oh gosh. I knew it. People here are crazy."

"I'm sorry." I smiled while trying to stop laughing. "We get that comment all the time." I erected myself from my normally-crouched back and offered my hand. "I believe I'm the one you're looking for. I'm Jun Busujima, it's very nice to make your acquaintance... Mr..."

He shook my hand firmly. "Kairi Fujioka. Nice to meet you."

"Ahh, Kairi Fujioka-san. I actually got your file here now, so please come in..."

. . . . .

"Wait what?! You're Kairi Fujioka?!"

He immediately covered my mouth and pushed me inside the office and shut the door. "NOT SO LOUD! Geez! You can really scream!"

I struggled against his hand and gently pushed it away. "I apologise. I didn't expect you to be here now, 'cause I was just given your file today."

"Huh? So what? I have nothing better to do anyway since my company put me on-hold. So you can't take care of your client without reviewing their files? Is that how unprofessional you are?"

This guy!!.... Ughhhh!!!!

I leered at him and calmly implied. "I deny that assumption. So why don't you take a sit?"

He clicked his tongue and sat on the cushioned chair. "You don't have to tell me, I'm not a child. Geez. Is this how you treat your clients, like a child? So condescending."

... I will seriously... be arrested for murder if I have to spend any more time with this guy!

And for those who follow me on IG and DA, did you expect Kai and Jun to have their personalities like this? I'm pretty sure I drew Jun... more enthusiastic. Lol! Anyway, thanks again!
