I was 5 when I lost everything my mother and my home. I had no father, it was just my mother and I. We lived in a forest away from others. The day went normally like it always was. But that one morning was the worst thing that happened. My mother and I were in our kitchen, she was making breakfast and I was sitting at the table. Then all of sudden, we were attack by these Shadow like creatures. My mother tried to fight them off. Last thing she said to me was, "Gabbi, Don't be afraid, try to face it and never let anyone stop you on your dream". And before I knew it, my mother fell to the ground not moving. I couldn't help but go to her even if those things were out there. I seen them crowd around me then instantly they were gone and all I see was a guard with a cross on his chest piece. I didn't see his face nor at the time I didn't want to when I seen him I thought he would take me away from my home. I take my mother's sword but fell from its weight. He spoke to me, " Don't worry I'm not here to hurt you but are you hurt.....?" He looked over at my mother and so did I, I seen she wasn't breathing and blood was everywhere. I couldn't help but cry. He picked me up and somehow I felt safe, I hugged him, I didn't want to let go. I felt him hug me back and we ended up in this village I never seen before. I seen a woman, she had brown eyes and black hair. With her was a little blond child and next him was a boy who was taller he must have been older, he had green eyes, brown hair, and was wearing what it looked like an old white night gown. The man called out to the woman. "Lady Aphmau!" He said. She came running up. "Garroth, what happened, who is this and why is she covered in blood?!" She asked
