Chapter 6

Chapter 6:              We are silent and then we slowly get up. "So uh, you want to-" I'm interrupted by a loud ring. It's Niall's phone. "Sorry, hold on." He says grabbing the phone and answering. "Hello?" he says. "Yes, really! Uh sure I'll be right there!" He says then hangs up. "I'm sorry Elyssa, I have to go." He says nervously. "What why-." I start to ask. "I'm sorry, bye!" He says hurrying and hailing a cab. "Oh, goodbye." I say saddened. "Wait Elyssa!" He says before he hops in the cab. "Yeah!" I say hoping he will stay. "Your notebook!" he says tossing it at me. It lands at my feet right in a puddle. Before I can say another word the cab speeds off. "Ugh." I say as I pick up the soaking wet notebook. I slowly walk back to the house. I go to open the door when I realize, I don't have my key! I ring the doorbell nobody answers. I look at my phone my Dad went out to run some errands. "Great, I'm stuck out here." I groan. I slump down next to the door.

I try and to call Niall but he doesn't pick up. I'm worried that the short time we've been together is possibly over. I pull my hood over my head and pull my knees up to my chest. I just can't have this be over. My voice is to thick to leave a message so I hang up. I text him. No reply. I'm worried and I can't describe how I'm feeling. I start singing my favorite song. Skyscraper. Demi Lovato, my favorite singer, has always been there for me through songs. I sit for a couple hours. I keep singing her songs. I start to cry for no reason. I dry my tears and tell myself I will be okay. I sing one more song. When I finish I hear a familiar voice say,  "Your voice is amazing." My face turns a fire truck red "Uh sorry, you weren't suppose to hear that!" I say embarrassed, I slowly stand up. I look into the bright blue eyes of my boyfriend, Niall. "Your back!" I say hugging him.

"Yeah, sorry for leaving you." He says. "That's fine." I say. "But why are you outside?" He asks. "Um, it's a long story, I lost my keys." I say. "Wow that was a long story." He says chuckling. I laugh and playfully hit his arm. "Ow!" He whines. "Oh it didn't hurt that bad did it?" I say. He pulls me to his side and we sit by the door. I lean on his shoulder. "I have good news!" He says. "Well, what is it?" I say excitedly. "Even though we lost the x-factor, we might become a band!" He says. "Yay!" I say happily. I fall asleep on his shoulder and I can feel him playing with my hair. I quietly laugh then fall back asleep.

"Elyssa? Elyssa? Wake up!" I hear voices say. I flutter my eyes open. "What?" I say sitting up. I rub my eyes and yawn. "She's still sleepy." I hear Nialls soft accent say. I get my vision back to normal and see 5 faces looking above me. "Holy-!" I say startled. "Whoops, maybe we should back up." I hear a British accent say this time. "You guys scared the living daylights out of me!" I say slowly standing up. "Haha, sorry." NIall says. "Quick question?" I say. "Where the hell am I?" I ask. I hear a few chuckles. "Your at our studio." Harry says. "Oh, um why?" I ask again. "Well, Niall here told us that you had an amazing voice," Harry's voice stops and Zayn's continues. "So we figured it would be fun if you recorded a couple songs!"  "Oh, yeah that sounds fun!" I say. "Well, lets get started." I hear Louis say.  

"So what song were you thinking?" Liam asks. "Oh um, I guess Skyscraper, by Demi Lovato." I say nervously. "That's the song you were singing when I came back." Niall says smiling. "Yeah." I say blushing at the memory. "Awh, shes blushing." I hear Louis whisper to Niall. "Hey, I heard that!" I say giggling. "Haha.... whoops." Louis says. "Here, we will play the beat, you sing take these headphones." Zayn says. "Okay." I say grabbing the headphones. "Just go in that room." Harry points to the room behind the glass. "Alrighty." I say opening the door and immediately adjust the microphone. I look up and see the boys all whispering together. Nialls P.O.V: We send Elyssa to the room and I whisper them my plan. "Okay, we will record the song, then send it to the record label." I say. "Then what?" Louis asks. "Um, that's all I got." I say. "How about we have a sleepover, at your house!" Liam says joking. "Actually, it's not that bad of an idea." I say. "But don't you guys think it would be weird for all 5 of us to be their with just one girl?" Zayn says. "What if there is 3 girls?" Louis says.

"Who?" Harry asks. "Duh, Eleanor, Danielle? Does that ring a bell?" Louis says with sarcasm. "Oh yeah!" I say. "Lets do it!" Harry says. "We can even tell Elyssa about the record label!" I say. "Hello, guys are we gonna do this?" I hear Elyssa's beautiful voice ask. "Yeah go ahead." We turn on the song. She starts singing and she sounds beautiful. "Wow, her voice is angelic." Harry says with delight. "Quit it, shes mine!" I say slapping Harry's arm. I can tell Elyssa saw what happened because shes smiling at me. I blush and look down. When she finishes I run in and hug her. "You were amazing!" I say. I lean in and kiss her passionately. She kisses me back and I'm filled with happiness. I can hear the boys whistling  but I could care less. When we pull apart her sparkling blue eyes stare at me in such a way, I feel like I will melt. I pull her hand into the other room. "Boys, care to do the honors?" I say winking at them to tip them off. "Yep!" Liam says. "WE ARE HAVING A SLEEPOVER PARTY!" They all say. "Oh really, but won't that be a bit I don't know... awkward?" She says. "No no, Eleanor, my girlfriend, and Danielle, Liams girlfriend will be there!" Louis says. "Well in that case, Okay!" Shes says with her beautiful smile. I know tonight will be amazing!
