"BUT MOM! I DON'T WANNA MOVE 1,800 MILES AWAY! ITS MY SENIOR YEAR! DO YOU KNOW HOW HARD IT WILL BE TO LEAVE MY FRIENDS? OR HOW HARDER ITS GONNA BE TO MAKE NEW FRIENDS BEING KNOWN AS FRESH MEAT AT A NEW SCHOOL?" I exclaimed. "Honey, I know you won't want to, but my boss is transferring me to a new office and making me office manager. Sweetie, don't worry, you're nice and funny. Everyone's going to want to be friends with you. Now go and finish packing your last items, the moving van should be here in an hour" my mom replied. I walked into my room and closed the door behind me. I fell onto my bed in distress. "UGHHH! 3 years of planning for Ryan to ask me to be his girlfriend is down the drain. Why must my mom want to ruin my life?!" I said in frustration. I got off my bed and went to my mirror, i untaped the pictures of my best friends and I from freshman year. Gosh I'm going to miss Tori and Caitlyn so much but there's nothing I can do about it.
*** 45 minutes later***
"HARLEY! THE MOVING VAN IS HERE! LETS GO, WE BOTH HAVE A BUSY DAY AHEAD FOR US TOMORROW!" my mom shouted from the other room. "Goodbye old room. Goodbye old walls full of secrets. Goodbye old childhood memories." I said before I kissed the door after closing it. Call me dramatic, but I spent my entire life in this house, my room was my safe haven and now I have to leave it. Carrying the last box of cherished items, I head for the door to meet my mom in the front yard. "Ready honey?" Mom asks me. "Yeah, but can we take one last photo before moving for good?" I ask. "Sure thing, I know how much you loved this house." She says as she poses for a picture with me. We head for the car and are off to travel to our new house 1800 miles away. Chino hills, California will be my new home from now on, but I know it will never compare to Minnesota.
