MINECRAFT Book 1: A Story of Survival

Chapter 3

I wake up in a luscious bed, a double bed with warm, heavy red sheets and a white pillow. When I look around, I see about 3 other beds. At the end of the room, opposite of the door, is a chest. I drag myself out of bed and open the chest. Inside of it are glowing golden apples, and a couple healing potions. I see movement above me out of my peripheral vision, and look up to see a huge, arched ceiling lined with a yellow block that looks sort of like cobblestone, but it glows instead. I decide to call it glowstone.

But anyway, I realize the movement is coming from a bunch of bats hanging from the very top of the ceiling. They skitter and screech. As I take a closer look around the room, I spot a lever on the wall, with a sign that says, "Pull switch to get rid of bats. I pull it and many things happen at once. First, glowstone shot out of the wall to startle the bats. Once they were off the wall, arrows shot out and took most of them out. The remaining bats were sniped by skeletons hidden in the walls. I later found out that the skeletons shot the bats because the bats smelt like human.

At that second, something BIG happened. Something that would change my life forever.

It started with a BANG.
