Hello everyone! This is the first ever story I'm writing on Wattpad. I hope you like it!
[And here is a friendly reminder. This book had been written when I was 12 years old so please if you find anything cringy, kindly ignore and I apologize :) ]
~Chapter 1- The Question 10~
I'm currently trapped in a prison which I can get out of only after 10 minutes. I can hear the police yelling at me and the other prisoners to concentrate on the work given to us. What is the work? Read the text book page 134.
If you haven't guessed by now, I'll tell you. I'm sitting here dying in the history class. I want to stand on the bench and scream at the top of my voice "THEY'RE ALL DEAD ANYWAY!" but I can't because Mr. Stupid, our history teacher gives us detentions-like-hell.
I get bored from reading and thought of reading something else. I look up from my book and see Mr. Stupid sitting on his chair and playing with his rubix cube.
Way to go, Mr. Stupid.
I start trying to read his mind and succeed. He is thinking of Ms. Rosalind, our arts teacher. He is planning to take her out for dinner and then give her the ring and then ask her to marry him.
Wait, isn't Ms. Rosalind already married?
This is a proof that Mr. Stupid is indeed stupid.
Now he is thinking why Ro is staring at my brain like that. He is planning to ask me the answer of question 10 from page 135.
Wait a second, he's about to ask me?
I quickly turn the page and sigh in relief to see there is no such thing called 'Question 10' here.
"Madison, can you please tell me the answer to question 10?" Mr. Stupid asks with a smirk on his face.
I stand up and now the whole class's attention is on me.
Great.
"Well, Mr. Stewart, I think you must go for an eye check-up and get new glasses because there is no question 10 here." I say boldly.
The whole class giggles.
Mr. Stupid frowns and look down to see no question 10 in the book. His ears become red in embarrassment. Hey, don't tell me he didn't knew that question 10 wasn't there.
He makes me sit and starts playing with his cube again.
How weird, a teacher must know all the questions of the book.
"Way to go, Ro." Kate, who is sitting beside me, whispers.
"I know. He deserves it for being stupid." I whisper back.
After what felt like centuries, the bell rang signaling its time for lunch.
I pack my bag and leave the class along with Kate.
"I can't believe you actually spoke to him like that! Looks like innocent and soft Ro is gaining some power." Kate told me as she pats my back.
I stiffened at the word power. Did she say it playfully or she knows my powers?
"I'll see you tomorrow then." With that she left.
I'm having a gain in my knowing the enemy's presence powers. First, I used to know it's presence from 1 km but now I can know even from being 2-3 km far.
I start walking towards the cafeteria.
I took my tray and sat on the table with my friends.
"Hey Ro," everyone greeted.
