Chapter 3- The Park

~Chapter 3- The Park~

"What do you want?" RB yells. "Why are you here?"

He doesn't reply. He just stands there, his black eyes staring furiously at me through his black mask.

"Stop staring at Ro and answer me." RB shouts even louder.

My heart becomes heavier than before; it's because his presence is so close to us.

He doesn't do anything. He just stares at me, and every second his gaze becomes more hard. Suddenly, he disappeared from there, and my heart becomes light again, signaling that he's gone.

If he had to disappear, then why in world did he come here?

Oh wait, that just rhymed.

Everyone looks at me, and I just stare at the ground. He's back to take my parent's powers from me. He wants to steal even the last thing which was my parent's. But I won't let him do, but I know the weaker part of me will give up.

"Ro..." RB said as he comforts me by patting my back.

I look at the Fearless gang and see everyone having pity in their eyes except Noah. I can read neither his eyes nor his mind. He has a power of shielding his emotions and mind.

We can expect only two things from the Fearless, pity and jokes.
They don't try to help, just sit there and pity me and crack jokes.

"He's trying to take my parent's powers from me too." I start, "If this were to be my own powers, I would gladly let him have them. But the powers which I have are my parent's, and I won't let him have these. Because this is the last thing of my parent's."

"No, you're wrong." RB told me. "You yourself is the most precious thing of your parent's. As long as you love yourself, you have the most beloved thing of your parent's."

A moment of silence overtook us, and I thought for a while about what RB said. I shook my head, trying to get rid off my parent's thoughts in my mind.

"Can I go home?" I requested suddenly, moving away from the topic.

"Sure you can, but make sure you're safe." RB said.

"I'll stay at your house." Nancy said. "No buts. What I said shall be done. Bye Neil!" With that she walked past me and stood near the door.

"Bye." I waved at everyone.

"Bye Ro." They all said in unison.

I started walking towards my house along with Nancy.

I locked my house and made sure all the windows were closed.

I cooked dinner for the both of us and now we're eating dinner watching Adventure Time on the t.v.

I know. My life is in danger and I'm here watching Adventure Time like kids.

Yay Ro, way to go!

Oh, that one rhymed too.

"You really didn't have to stay, you know." I said after some time.

"I didn't have to stay, I had to stay. When he came, the look on your face was as if you will cry so much that it would be enough to cause a flood." Nancy told me as she took a bite from her noodles.

We spent the night chatting. Mostly I got drifted away when Nancy spoke too much at a time, but she didn't mind because she knew that I'm still in a state of shock since he came.
