Memories

Lucy's POV

Carla went home while Natsu was still out cold on the couch. Happy was siting across from him. I sigh and look out side the entrance  hole. "Lushi, its been two hours, why isn't he waking up?" I smile sadly. "Pain, grief, and more than ten years of good and bad memories. He will find an old friend from deep inside. However, that friend will disappear in front of his eyes." "Lushi?" I hop out of the hole. "Tell Natsu that I'll be in our spot when he wakes up." I fly using my dragon wings.

Natsu's POV

I was floating in darkness. Then a bunch of lacrima projections show up. I widen my eyes. It was me with Happy meeting Lucy in Hargion but not with her wearing a cloak. She was with a fake Salamander. I saved her with Happy then brought her to Fairy Tail. "NATSU!" I look at around until I find the right screen. "LUCY!" That was a past me catching Lucy from the tower of Phantom Lord. I look at a screen from our recent adventure but it was totally different. Then time skips forward to a place with demons of Tartaros. I widen my eyes. What I saw brought tears to my eyes. Me screaming next to a dead Igneel. Tears come to my eyes. Then me leaving for a year, leaving Lucy with a note.

It goes to me meeting Lucy again, reuniting Fairy Tail, getting Makarov. Then a time skip. I was brushing Lucy's long hair as she told me the story of the Celestial Fire Dragon, then Lucy turning into a dragon then it skips to Lucy shielding me from a bunch of arrows. I widen my eyes and I go to yell something but then it shows me mating with Lucy. I turn red. It shows me turning into a dragon. I gasp in shock. War with a man, being in crystal then having twins out of no where.

Lucy's POV

I was sitting in front of the fully bloomed cherry blossom tree. It's been an hour. I can't help but worry about Natsu. How will he react? So many thoughts were running in my head. I hear some footsteps. I look up and see Natsu. He sits next to me. I look up at the sky. "Remember anything now?" He nods slowly. I sigh. "I understand if you're mad" He shakes his head and hugs my waist. "I'm not mad. I just- I don't" I hug his head to my chest. "I understand. I'm sorry you had to see that again." He nuzzles my neck. "It's alright, but if this is the past, doesn't that mean he's alive?" I shrug. "I have a way to tell." "How?" I smile. "Sit up straight" He does what I say. I spread his vest open, showing his muscular chest. Natsu tilts his head. I put my ear over his heart and take a deep breath. "Hold still."

I open my eyes and look around. I see a volcano with a river of lava. I was a ball of light and stars. I fly towards the volcano. I see nothing. I sigh until I hear a roar. "What are you doing here!" I turn around and see Igneel standing behind me. I sigh. "Hi Igneel" "Lucy?" I giggle. "Long time no see, but I have something to tell you." "What is it?" I sigh. "Time has been reversed" "What?" I start explaining. Igneel sighs and rubs the scales on his head. "I see, but time has been altered. Lucy, you must keep everything from the other time a secret." I nod. "I know, Zeno is gone, but now we have a new opponent." Igneel nods. "Go, but tell Natsu that I'm alive but also tell him that I can't come out from inside him." I smile sadly. "Ok, he's going to be sad but glad to know that you're alive." "I know, bye Lucy. Don't come here again" I giggle and nod. "Bye Igneel" I exit.

 I open my eyes to see Natsu staring down at me. I blink as I sit up. Natsu closes his vest again. I hug Natsu. "He's alive alright, he can't come out though." Natsu kisses me. I close my eyes and deepen the kiss. We pull back. "Thanks Lucy, so what now?" I sigh and grab his cheeks. "first, everything from the future is a secret and we play out fate how it should. However I will not go back to Fairy Tail" Natsu pouts and puts his hands on mine. "Why not?" I peck his lips quickly. "I have reasons" "Your being targeted aren't you?" I nod. "Yes, but don't worry. They will only find me in Fairy Tail, which is why I'm not rejoining." Natsu kisses my forehead. "Alright." I smile and hug him. It was nice being in his arms again.
