Nightmares

Lucy's POV

I hug Natsu, not telling him my plan. I run my fingers through his long hair. I feel him doing the same, Happy was eating the giant fish from earlier. I bundle up his hair at shoulder length. "Lucy?" I make a blade of fire. I cut his hair at shoulder length. He gasps, surprised. His cut off hair falls to the ground like snow. I let go of his hair, that was in my hand, and gently touch the burnt edges. I smack his hair to get rid of the ash. I grab a hair tie from my wrist and put his hair in a pony tail. "Sorry Natsu-" "its fine" "-I'll cut it properly later. Can you burn my hair off at my hips?" He nods against the top of my head. He grabs my hair just above my hips and burns every strand down off. He lets go of my hair. "Damn that's cool" "What?" I tilt my head. "Lucy, the tips of your hair turned red." I bring my hair over my shoulder to examine the tips. I widen my eyes. "that is cool" I put my hair back over my back. I go to stand but end up falling in Natsu's lap. "Whoa! Are you ok Lucy?!" I nod. "I guess. But sleeping that long weakened my muscles, and somehow used up magic" "Is it the nightmares fault?" I cough up blood but Natsu licks the blood from the corner of my lips. "Hmm most likely." I hold back coughs but blood continues to flow out of my mouth.

Natsu licks the blood off as I continue. "The curse was designed to do three things." Blood pours out faster. "One, give me nightmares for the rest of my life. Two, give me magic deficiency disease when I sleep. Three-" Before I can say the last reason, I widen my eyes and turn my head away from Natsu. I cough up blood roughly. "Lucy!" I narrow my eyes. I couldn't stop coughing. Natsu was rubbing up and down my back. Blood was starting to pool on the ground. With a shaky hand, I put a finger out and dip it in the blood. I start writing something on the clean part of the ground. Natsu and Happy widen their eyes. I hear Natsu whispering out what I wrote. "Three, I'll die quicker" I then stop coughing. I grab my head as I start to get dizzy. "are you alright Lucy?" I wipe my mouth. "Somehow. Ugh I feel dizzy" Natsu sighs. "Damn, why do you always have to worry me? And people call me the trouble maker" I hug Natsu's neck. "I do it for you, for us, and for everything that even exists" Natsu hugs my waist and nuzzles my neck. "So what now Lucy?" I put a hand over my guild mark. I clench my fist over it. "I have to see Mavis. She'll know" Natsu freezes. "How are we going to get there?" I tense up as well. "I can't use my dragon form for a while, both of us are to much for Happy to carry..." Me and Natsu immediately grab our mouths and stomachs. Happy laughs in the background.

Natsu was currently carrying me as we walked down some mountains. "Hey Lucy?" I hum against his neck as a response. "Am I still able to use the techniques you taught me in the other time?" Happy tilts his head. I kiss his neck but hold my lips against the scar there. "You should. Why don't you try it out?" I can practically feel Natsu smirk. Natsu gently sets me down on a flat rock. Happy perches himself on my lap. "Lushi? What did you teach him? What other time?" I pet his head. "In due time Happy, in due time" He sits down while nodding. Natsu grins and glances back at us. "Watch this Happy!" I smile as he does the bow technique. "Wow! Cool Natzu!" Natsu only grins madly. I narrow my eyes slightly as Natsu aims straight up. "You idiot" Natsu only grins. He lets go of the fire string, releasing the fire arrow. As the arrow disappears from sight, a flash appears. I blink as the fire arrow is falling above me. Happy clutches me in fright. I only sigh. I open my mouth slightly and catch the arrow with my teeth. Happy looks up at me. I start eating the fire. "Nice catch Lucy!" I wave a hand weakly. "Whatever. Do the sword one"

Natsu makes a beam of flames from a mostly closed fist. Then the fire shifts into the form of a katana. Natsu swings the sword around, exactly like I taught him from the other time line. I put a hand on my cheek and smile. "Ah~ this brings back memories" Natsu makes the fire katana disappear. "Oh. You mean when you trained me after we mated?" I nod. "Yeah. Ah~ you were so cute" Natsu blushes and pouts. "Hey! That's not my fault!" "What are you two talking about?" Natsu crouches in front of Happy and puts a hand on his furry head. "can we tell him Lucy?" I rub my temples. "Sure, but if he faints not my problem" Natsu kisses my forehead. "Ok so~" I tune out from their conversation as a ting goes off in my head. ~Can't hide from me forever Lucy~. I narrow my eyes. -Zeref, why do you want Natsu so bad?- ~You know why~ -You're right, I do. But I will never let that happen.- ~If you say so, bye!~ "And so time was reversed!" Happy had spirals in his eyes. I sweatdrop. "You do know you went against what Igneel told me not to do right?" Natsu waves a hand. "I know, but when do I ever follow rules?" I giggle. "Oh yeah. You don't follow rules" "Damn right!"
