Let me know what you think about this chapter!
On the Friday before my birthday I walk into my least favorite class, calculus, right as the late bell rings. Mr. Martinez looks at me with disappointment. I was one of his honors students.
As I walk to my desk he says, "Glad to see you join us, Miss Roberts."
I give him a small nod and proceed to walk to my desk.
As I sit down Mr. Martinez says "We have a new student coming today, class." The room fills with loud groans and some people plop their heads down on the desk, ready to fall asleep already.
I look up to see a familiar face. Adrien Clavis. I, too plop my head down on my desk in anger, and disgust. Adrien was one of the many players at Seacrest High School.
Just when I finally get semi-relaxed, I hear footsteps coming toward me. I look up just enough to see Adrien's gorgeous, blue eyes. He then locks his eyes on mine. With a slight grin filling his perfect lips. He sits down, still having his eyes locked on mine. He then says, "Hey, beautiful." His voice husky and deep.
I look away with my nose crinkled in disgust. He's such a player, and yet he thinks he can get an honors student to fall for him. Funny.

As the bell rang to excuse us from the last period of the day, I went to my locker to put my Geography book in my backpack, when I felt two strong arms wrap around my waist, and turn me around. I look up with an angry expression. It suddenly drops when I see my best friend, Luke smiling widely at me. I give him a wide smile as I wrap my arms around his neck. He wraps his arms around my waist, picking me up and spinning me around, both of us laughing.
He then says "Ready for a major movie mar-"
He gets interrupted by a familiar deep angry voice yelling, "Put my girl down."
Luke does as he was told, looking at me with furrowed eyebrows and mouths 'my girl?' I shrug as I look for the person who owns that voice.
I turn to see an angry Adrien. I then say with anger, "I am NOT 'your girl.' " he gives me a smirk followed with a wink and turns around to walk away.
I look at Luke. His eyes still filled with confusion.

As we arrive at Luke's house, we get out of the car and head into his house.
As I'm hanging up my backpack on a coat rack by the door, Luke tells me to meet him in the movie room. I do as I was told and go in the basement when I'm finished upstairs.
He already had already started the movie.
"What movie are we watching?" I ask.
"Our favorite. The Lone Ranger." He says with excitement.
"Yes!" I say, running to the couch and sitting beside him. He puts his arm around me unexpectedly and I let out a small gasp. Not that I mind. It was just unexpected... I snuggle in closer to him. It was cold, taking that his movie room was in the basement...
I shiver, and he pulls me in closer as he puts a blanket over the two of us.

We ended up watching several movies. By the time the last movie was over, it was 3 a.m. I didn't realize til' after the last movie was over that I had 3 missed calls from my mom. That's never good...
I called her back hoping she wouldn't be mad, and she answered almost immediately and started the interrogating. "Where are you?" "Are you alright?" "Are you with Luke?" I roll my eyes at all of her questions.
"I'm at Luke's, and yes, I'm alright." I say with annoyance. I hear Luke chuckle.
"Are you spending the night there?" My mom then asks. My mom trusts Luke.
"If I can" I say with a sigh. I look up at Luke, a huge smile planted on his face as he's shaking his head 'yes'. I was so focused on Luke I hadn't even realized my mom had hung up.
She texted me a while later saying she was going to bed, and to not do anything I'd regret. Not like me and Luke would do anything like that. We were too close of friends.
Hope you enjoyed this chapter!!

Romance"So, we won't get in trouble if I do THIS!?" He exclaims as he throws a cup of flower at me. "Nope! And I won't get in trouble for doing this, either." I say as I crack an egg on his beautiful brown hair. He gets up off the stool he was sitting on...
