"I know."

"How do you know?" she backed away, glaring at me accusatorially.

I was too fixated on her eyes to answer. They always told me my eyes were a dark mossy green. Her eyes were green, green like mine, but hers were large, golden green, filled with bronze flecks. And right now they blazed with a sort of molten fiery intensity.

"How do you know?" she repeated once more.

I pulled out of my thoughts and said hurriedly without thinking, "We share dreams. You have greendreams too, like me, like Bran, and your eyes are the most beautiful things I've ever seen."

"I - I - I don't know what you're talking about," she said, those exquisite eyes darting about warily. She backed away and ran off.

I knew better than to follow her. I sighed and sat down. When would she come to terms with her abilities? Would she ever trust me?
