"I'm sorry Carter" I grabbed both his hands.

I handed him my cell number.

He smiled and Nick pulled up in his old ford car.

I pulled him into a hug.

"bye Lila" he said and kissed my cheek

"bye Carter" I said.

"Bye Sam!!"" Carter yelled

Sam waved and got in the car with Nick.

"there they are!!!!!!" a girly voice yelled

I turned around quickly to see Mara followed by 4-5 guards. I whipped around quickly and gave Nick the signal to go. He floored the cat and with in second there was no sigh of him

I felt string hands grab my waist.

"Ms. Rolyat, you are under castle arrest until you confess to the location of Sam Rentual" I looked beside me to see they were doing the same to Carter.

"what?!" I struggled around and they started pulling us in the castle.

"Mara?!, why?!" Carter yelled

"oh, Carter, honey, sweetie." Mara started

"you actually thought I was in love with you, I just needed to be princess" she said smirked

his mouth fell open

"you, you, you, you, bit..." Carter started

"Carted she's not worth it" I said.

They dragged us down stairs into a cell. They threw us 2 bright orange jumpers. The bigger guy pulled out a radio

"we need a woman down at 844" two seconds later a lady in a guard uniform was standing in front of me and Carter's sell.

"let her out" she said

I walked out and she grabbed my hands behind my back and walked me into a dark, concrete, room with the orange jumper in her hands.

Wait. What?!

"take off all your clothes and put on the jumper."

Yes, the most awkward moment in. My. Life. I quickly took off my shorts and underwear and pulled on the jumper. Then quickly tore off my shirt and bra and pulled up the jumper. Disgusting. I thought. We walked out the door and seen Carter and a male guard. Poor dude. I quickly walked into the cell and laid on the hard, steal, bottom bunk. Soon enough Carter came back in.

"disgusting" we said at the same time.

"never going to jail" I said

"dido" he said.

I sat down on the hard, metal, bench.

"I'm sorry Carter" I mumbled.

"for what?" he asked.

"well, your girlfriends a witch, and your in jail" I said quietly.

"it's not your fault Mara's a witch" he slithered and made a disgusted face at the word 'Mara'.

I stood up and he did the same.

I wrapped my hot arms around his built waist. I felt a hot tear

fall down my cheek. I buried my face in his chest.

"I am truly, truly sorry" I mumbled sadly.

There was a short pause.

"Lila.... I... I... Don't know if this is a great time... But I think I might be in love with you." if only I a quarter for every time I heard that.

He leaned down and pressed his strong, soft, lips, to mine. there was a short pause and we pulled away. He gave me a weird glance/stare.

"sorry" he said

I walked over to the bench and laid down wrapping the thin blanket around my shoulders, my eyes got heavy and I went to sleep.

I woke up no one around I rubbed my eyes and sat up.

"ow!!" I yelled as I hit my head in the top bunk.

"you okay?" Carter said.

"ya" I said rubbing my head

He hopped off his bed onto the cold, concrete, floor.

"look, Lila, I'm sorry about what I did." he said fluffing his head

"it's okay" I said and slid off my bed.

"so. How are we going to get out of here?" he said.

"I have no idea" I said

"can't you just be like one of those girls in the movies, pull of a nail file, and file us out of hear? Or the vent?" he said sarcastically

I looked up from the floor.

"Carter, your brilliant"
