You took a deep breath, collecting your thoughts before you stepped onto the campus of your new high school, Hope's Peek Academy. You were able to go to this high class school because you were recognized as a top writer, having a book being released.
You stepped your right foot on the ground just past the walls of the outskirts of the school, and everything went dizzy, you wobbled from side to side, trying to keep your balance on the nearby cement wall, but you still fell. You hit the ground, hard, it left a small bruise that would remind you of the terrible times you would have at this school.
Lifting your head up from the desk, your thoughts collected. Your eyes searched the room, leading you to conclude that it was a large classroom you were in. You slowly got up from the desk you were lying on, letting your hand still rest on the table behind you, as if you didn't want to step out of the room. Looking back to the desk you had been lying on, you noticed a letter, written in red ink, that read "Get to the gym before 8:00."
You fretted slightly, panicked at the fact you didn't know where the gym was, you didn't even know where you were! You shook your head to get the thoughts flooding around in it to recollect, as you felt the feeling of blood rushing through your head as if you had been lying down for more than two hours.
You stepped out of the classroom, noting that a small metal block stuck out from the wall, which read 'class 503.' You mentally noted the fact and ran to where you thought the gym was, sighing with relief as you came up to a room with the same metal block jutting out from atop the door, which read 'gym'. You nodded, pushing the large doors open.
As you walked into the room eyes turned to you, specifically 30.
"This makes 16 of us." A lavender haired girl said, crossing her arms and turning away from you. You looked around the room, looking at each of the 14 other teens faces. One that interested you was a small, light brown haired girl, who was looking at you with wide eyes, which had the color of her hair. A surge of protectiveness washed over you. This was normal, as whenever you found someone that was the weaklink, you would decide for yourself that you would protect them, and when you decided, it was firm. You smiled at the girl, who looked about 10, and walked over to her, crossing your arms and standing tall, as if you thought that if you looked scary enough they wouldn't go after the small girl beside you.
"Now that we're all here, we might as well start!" A loud, scratchy voice boomed through the large gym. You looked to a small podium, which was standing on a stage you had not seen when you had arrived, a small bear jumped from behind the podium and stood on the large piece of wood. "I am Monokuma! And the reason you are here is because, you'll be living here forever!" Monokuma shouted, throwing his arms to the air as he yelled his name to the students, who were now terrified.
"The only way for you to get out, is to kill eachother!" Monokuma shouted again. You bit your lip, feeling a large wave of protectiveness wash over you, as your eyes averted to the small girl next to you, who was on the brink of tears.
"Let me explain! You can kill eachother any way you want! But, after the murder there will be an investigation and trial! During the trial you are to find out who the murderer is and if you guess correctly, that person gets executed, guess wrong, and the murderer will be out of this school and the rest of you will be murdered!" You scoffed at the enthusiasm this bear seemed to have while he was talking about murder.
"GET TO YOUR ROOMS!!!" Monokuma shouted. You looked to the little girl and out your hand on her shoulder.
"What is your name?" You asked, in the usual gentle voice you had when you were in protective mode.
The girl seemed surprised that a supposed enemy had asked her what her name was, but due to your voice she eventually said, "Chihiro Fujisaki." You smiled, "(Y/N), I take you to your room." You smiled, placing a hand on the girls back and looking for the door with the plate on it that would read 'Fujisaki.'
You smiled as you came up to Chihiro's door, you smiled and let her go into her room. It seemed that she trusted you, this is what you wanted, to protect someone, and this was the perfect opportunity to.
A FEW DAYS LATER!
Two people have been killed, Maizono, and Leon. Lean had murdered her, and now you realized the reality of the situation bearing on your shoulders. The one good thing was that you had gotten very close to Chihiro, telling her that she was to not murder anyone, not that you thought she would, you just didn't want to be there if she was executed.
(THIS WOULD BE THE END OF THIS PART OF THE ONE SHOT) (NEXT WILL BE THE CHOICES) (STARTING WITH SAVING HER AND FINDING OUT HER ACTUAL GENDER) (THEN YOU ARE MURDERED THEN SHE/HE IS) (THE CHOICE IS YOURS!)
