*Jacob*
Seeing the battle between a father and daughter, especially royalty, is one I would never imagine seeing. It was incredible. I never seen a woman fight as equally as a man.
I saw her look over at me over her father shoulder. Her beautiful brown eyes glowed in the sunset. There is something about her that is so special I can't put my finger on it.
Could it be her intelligence to rule a kingdom without a husband, or her heart full of love for herself, her kingdom and family, well father, or her courage in herself that she couldn't just be one person?
I saw her walkover towards me and she was holding her sword.
"So, did you think a young woman like me, especially a princess, could fight like a king?" she said ad she put her sword back in its case.
"No, never imagined that. You were amazing out there. It just sad that the King lost to his daughter.""It is never a shame to let a father lose to their own child." The king came behind her and touched her shoulder. "I see you two have meet."
"Yes, Father. Is it a shame that I am never allowed to me royal guest, especially one to be the new stewart."
"No, not at all. Jacob, join us for dinner.""Of course, Your Majesty." I said nervously. I watched him walk away and then look back at Amel...I mean Mia.
"Your lucky, not many young men have ever been asked to dine with us."
"Why is that, if I may ask?"
"You'll just have to wait and see" She smiled and walked away.Wow! She is amazing. I mean beautiful, intelligent and talented with a sword. I never thought I would ever see a woman fight in hand-to-hand combat.
I walked back to the castle behind the crowd then suddenly I was pulled into an alley. Mia!
"Jesus, Mia! You frightened me!"
"I'm sorry, but I need to ask you a question."
"Of course. What, what is it?"
"I know what's gonna happen tonight at the dinner, he is going to test you. He will ask you all you know about me and then..."I don't know what came over me, watching her lips move send a serious chill through my body. As she continued talking, I stopped her with gentle kiss to her pink lips. I felt her heart accelerate and her hand on my shoulder.
My hands came to her cheek and her waist. She surprisingly kissed me back then backed away slowly.
We started in each others eyes looking her brown eyes was as if looking at myself in the mirror and something beautiful looking back.
"I'm sorry, Mia. That was out of my intention."
"No. No need to apologize. I guess it was the only way to be silent." She giggled and looked down.I brought her face back to mine and kissed her again. Suddenly...
"Amelia! Lady Amelia, you Father is looking you." Our lips moved quickly but desperately wanted to be back together."Um, I'm coming!" She shouted. Then looked at me. It is as if she wanted to say something but didn't know what.
She walked out of the alley and I watched her. I still had this taste of chocolate and strawberries on my lips and the smell of jasmine perfume on me.
I'm in love with the princess.
